High pressure building down from eastern Canada will give us mostly sunny skies today, it will still be a little breezy but not as windy as yesterday, temperatures will be a little below normal.

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather on Saturday giving us a mostly sunny and cool day again but with less wind.

Low pressure will move into our area on Sunday and redevelop as a coastal storm, there is a chance of snow early on Sunday but most of the precipitation will hold off until late morning. Snow and sleet should change to rain late Sunday into Sunday night. The coastal storm will be slow to move away from our area so Monday, rain should gradually change back to snow before ending Monday night. Snowfall amounts will depend on the track and intensity of the storm but at this time 1-2 inches are possible across the Clifton area with higher accumulations to our north and west.

Mainly dry weather Tuesday through Thursday with temperatures a little below normal.

Today will be a colder and windy day as the combination of low pressure off the Maine coast and high pressure building down from central Canada will combine to give our area a strong northwest flow of air, some gusts will be near 40 mph. Skies will be mostly sunny.

Dry and seasonably cold weather Friday and Saturday as high pressure builds closer to our area from the north.

Low pressure will move into our area on Sunday and intensify just off our coast. Snow is likely Sunday morning possibly giving our area an inch or so of accumulation before mixing and changing to rain Sunday afternoon. Rain may change back to snow or snow showers on Monday with some accumulation again possible especially further inland.

Dry and chilly weather Tuesday and Wednesday.

A warm front will move to our north this morning followed by a cold front tonight. We should have mostly cloudy skies today with mild temperatures, there is a 50% chance of showers.

Thanksgiving Day with be cooler and quite windy with gusts up to 40 mph, skies will be mostly sunny.

Seasonably cold with dry weather expected Friday and Saturday.

The next significant storm will affect our area Sunday into Monday, snow is likely Sunday morning changing to rain Sunday afternoon with the precipitation changing back to snow on Monday. At this time it is too early on possible snow accumulation and depends on the strength and track of the storm system.

Tuesday should be mostly sunny and seasonably cold.

High pressure will move offshore and a southwesterly flow of mild air, temperatures will rise to around 60 with light winds, quite a comfortable late fall day.

A warm front will move north of the area Wednesday morning followed by a cold front at night, there will be more cloudiness with a chance of some light showers.

Thanksgiving Day will be cooler as a strong low pressure moves into the Canadian Maritime area, strong winds gusting to 35 mph during the day. Temperatures will be near 50 in the morning falling through the 40s in the afternoon, skies will be mostly sunny.

Dry and seasonably cold weather Friday and Saturday.

A storm system is expected to develop and move through our area on Sunday, very tricky forecast and will depend on the strength and track of the storm. At this point it appears that most of the precipitation will be in the form of rain but may start and end as snow especially further inland.

After yesterday’s dreary and cool day, we enjoy the return of sunshine today with seasonably mild temperatures and light winds.

Tomorrow will be a very pleasant late fall day with plenty of sunshine and even milder temperatures.

Thanksgiving day will be cooler with a brisk wind, however skies should be mostly sunny.
