After early morning overcast skies this morning it will become mostly sunny as high pressure builds into the area, high temperatures will continue to be a little above normal.

Thursday will be the coldest day of the forecast period with temperatures near normal which will feel a little chilly after this mild January.

Temperatures will be a little milder on Friday with mostly sunny skies continuing as high pressure dominates.

Still watching for a potential coastal storm on Saturday but latest models have the storm out to sea or just brushing our area but that can change.

Dry weather on Sunday with seasonably mild temperatures.

Milder and mainly dry weather early next week.

Today will again be a mostly cloudy day as a weak cold front approaches the area, temperatures will remain slightly above normal. Tonight will be colder than the last couple of nights with lows in the 20s.

Dry weather will persist through Friday with temperatures near seasonable levels as high pressure dominates our weather.

Still watching a potential coastal storm for Saturday that may give us rain or snow. The latest GFS computer model has the storm just offshore which would give us a couple inches of snow while the European model has the system well offshore and not give us any precipitation.

High pressure will then give our area dry conditions Sunday and Monday with slightly above normal temperatures.

A weak upper air disturbance will cause mostly cloudy skies today with a few flurries possible this morning, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs in the upper 40s which is about 10 degrees above normal. Winds will be a little gusty this afternoon from the west.

Dry conditions will continue Tuesday through Friday with temperatures at or slightly above normal.

Still watching a potential winter storm for the weekend, the latest computer models have the storm too far offshore to give us any significant precipitation but that can change since we are still five days away.

The low pressure that caused the heavy rain yesterday is moving off the New England coast as high pressure in the middle of the country builds toward our area. Today will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures around ten degrees above normal.

This coming week will be mainly dry and temperatures will be at or slightly above normal, the only precipitation may come in a brief sprinkle or flurry tomorrow morning.

Another storm system may affect our area on Saturday giving us a chance of rain or snow.

A low pressure system will give us rain today which will be heaviest this afternoon, the only chance of freezing rain will be mainly across higher elevations well to our north and west at the start but even there the precipitation will be changing to just plain rain. The rain should end around sunset. Rainfall amounts of around one inch is expected.

Very quiet weather Sunday through next week with no precipitation expected as high pressure will dominate our weather, temperatures will average slightly above normal.
