Rain is falling across much of the area early on this Friday morning, temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the low 50s in Clifton down to the upper 40s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A warm front will pass north of the area followed by a cold front tonight, Periods of rain are expected during the day today into tonight, rainfall amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch is likely. With the rain and clouds temperatures will be in the low 60s.

Clearing will take place on Saturday as the storm system moves to the Canadian maritimes and high pressure builds into the area from the southwest. It will become windy with gusts to 35 mph are possible.

A weak disturbance will give us a good chance of showers on Sunday followed by clearing and cooler at night, overnight lows may drop into the 30s.

Fair and dry weather is expected on Monday but unsettled weather with a chance of showers Monday night through Thursday, temperatures will be near or slightly below normal during this period.

Skies are partly to mostly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and tempertures are cooler than the last few mornings with readings ranging from the upper 40s in Clifton down to around 40 further inland. These readings are actually still a little above normal. Winds are light northeasterly.

High pressure will be moving offshore as a frontal system approaches from the west, we should see an increase in clouds but we should remain dry today, temperatures will be a little cooler than yesterday but with less wind.

Rain on Friday with a chance of thunderstorms, rainfall amounts will be between 1/2 to 1 inch.

We will clear out on Saturday as high pressure builds into the area but it will be windy with gusts up to 40 mph possible, temperatures will be near seasonable levels.

A weak disturbance will give us a low chance of showers on Sunday, temperatures will continue to be near normal.

It will be dry during the day on Monday but another weak disturbance may give us showers again Monday night into Tuesday.

A disturbance approaching from the west will cause increasing cloudiness on Thursday with a low chance of showers in the afternoon and evening.

A frontal system will give us rain on Friday with a chance of a thunderstorm, rainfall amounts will average 1/2 to 1 inch.

Clearing on Saturday but it will be windy, temperatures will be near seasonably levels.

Another weak disturbance may give us a shower on Sunday followed by dry conditions early next week.

High pressure building into the area will give us a warm day today with plenty of sunshine. High temperatures will be well up into the 70s with some areas rising close to 80 degrees.

A weak cold front will give us a chance of some showers late tonight.

Dry weather with temperatures a little above normal Wednesday and Thursday.

A frontal system will likely give rain on Friday, rainfall amounts will average 1/2 to 1 inch.

At this point the upcoming weekend will be dry with near seasonable temperatures.

Skies are partly cloudy across the area early on this Monday morning and temperatures are once again above normal with readings ranging from the low 50s in Clifton down the mid 40s further inland, winds are light northerly.

A weak low pressure offshore will cross Long Island today, some light rain may brush our area this afternoon but areas further inland should remain dry.

Warm weather with dry conditions on Tuesday as high pressure build into the area. A cold front may cause some showers Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning followed by clearing during the day. Temperatures will continue to be seasonably mild.

Thursday looks to be dry with seasonably mild temperatures continuing.

A stronger low pressure system will give our area a good chance of rain from late Thursday night into Friday, rainfall amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch is possible.

After a dry Saturday there will be a chance of showers once again late in the day on Sunday.
