Skies are mostly clear early on this Monday morning and temperatures are colder than the last few mornings with readings ranging from the mid 20s in Clifton down to some upper teens further inland, winds are brisk out of the north. Although it is colder it is not as frigid as on this date last year when temperatures dropped to 1 degree.

High pressure will give us a sunny day but it will be cold with highs only in the 30s, winds will not be as strong as what was experienced yesterday.

A frontal system approaching the area tonight will cause skies to become cloudy with a light mixture of snow, sleet, and rain will develop after midnight and then change to all rain before ending in the morning, accumulations of less than one inch is expected. During the day it will become milder as a warm front moves through the area. A cold front will likely cause rain showers at night.

Wednesday will be a windy day with temperatures slightly above normal.

Colder but dry weather is expected Thursday through Saturday.

Some models are suggesting some precipitation on Sunday and this time it will be cold enough for snow.

Today will be a mild day but gusty winds will make it feel colder as low pressure moves to the Canadian Maritimes and high pressure builds in behind the low. Skies will be partly sunny.

Much colder tonight and Monday as high pressure builds down from Eastern Canada.

Another low pressure system will give us precipitation mainly from late Monday into Tuesday morning, the precipitation should start as a mixture of snow and rain before changing to all rain. Snowfall amounts of a dusting possible in our area but up to an inch well inland.

A cold front will give us another chance of showers Tuesday night.

Mainly dry weather Wednesday through the beginning of next weekend with seasonably cold temperatures.

Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there is some light rain falling over portions of the area, temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, winds are light.

A low pressure area will be moving offshore today with periods of rain likely with the heaviest rainfall expected to our east, rainfall amounts will be around 1/2 inch in our area. Temperatures will remain mainly in the 40s.

High pressure will build in for Sunday as a weak cold front moves through the area, it will be mild but it will become windy.

Much cooler air moves in Sunday night into Monday as high pressure builds in from the north, high temperatures on Monday will only be in the middle 30s.

Another storm system will give us precipitation Monday night into Tuesday morning, the precipitation may be mixed with snow and sleet at the start but then change to all rain.

Fair weather returns on Wednesday and should last through the rest of next week, temperatures will be seasonably cold.

High pressure moving through the area will give us a rather pleasant day for early January with mild temperatures and light winds. We should see an increase in cloudiness this evening.

A low pressure system moving into the area will give us rain mainly falling from late tonight through tomorrow afternoon, rainfall amounts will average about an inch.

Sunday looks to be a dry day with seasonably mild temperatures as high pressure builds into the area.

Monday should be dry and somewhat colder but another low pressure system will likely give us more precipitation late Monday night into Tuesday, the precipitation may start off as a wintery mix but change to all rain.

Fair weather returns for the rest of next week with seasonably cold temperatures.

Skies are cloudy across the area and temperatures are mild ranging from the upper 30s in Clifton down to the low 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm. We had a brief shower overnight but with the milder air only rain was reported.

The weak disturbance that caused the light rainshower overnight will move offshore as high pressure builds in, we should remain dry today but skies will be mostly cloudy, winds will become a little brisk by this afternoon.

High pressure will give us a nice day on Friday with some sunshine and continued mild temperatures.

A stronger low pressure is expected to give us rain on Saturday beginning before dawn and continue into the evening, rainfall amounts may be close to one inch.

Dry weather with seasonably mild temperatures Sunday and Monday but another disturbance may give us precipitation again falling mostly as rain but may start off as a mixture of rain or snow.
