Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy across the area and temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton down to the lower 30s further inland, winds are brisk out of the northwest gusting to 25 mph.

Today we will start off mostly cloudy but become mostly sunny this afternoon, winds will be brisk till early this afternoon then diminish later in the day, high temperatures will be in the mid 40s which is a few degrees below normal.   The storm that gave us the rain on Monday and the higher winds the last two days will be slowly moving into the North Atlantic as high pressure builds into our area.

Friday will be a partly sunny and cool day with light winds, there is a slight chance of some light rain in the afternoon and evening but most areas will remain dry.

A frontal system will move into the area over the weekend with rain developing by Saturday night and continue in Sunday morning as a warm front associated with the system moves into our area.  Much warmer air behind the warm front will be with us on Sunday as temperatures reach the mid 60s.  A cold front may touch off a shower in the afternoon.

Most of next week will be dry but a low pressure will be moving offshore to our south but any precipitation should stay out of our area.   Temperatures will be mild on Monday but become cooler Tuesday and Wednesday.

Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the mid 30s in Clifton to the upper 20s further inland where there are some flurries falling, winds are around 10 mph.

Strong low pressure off the upper New England coast along with high pressure building from the west will give us a mostly cloudy day. It will be windy with some gusts up to 35 mph, high temperatures in the 40s will feel colder due to the wind.

Less wind but staying chilly and dry Thursday through the day on Friday as high pressure gets closer to the area.

A frontal system will give us a chance of rain Friday night becoming more likely on Saturday.

A warm front will cross the area Sunday morning accompanied by some showers and followed by much warmer air, high temperatures may rise to the low 60s.  A cold front is expected to come through Sunday night followed by cooler and dry weather for early next week.

Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, winds are from the west around 5-10 mph.   Rainfall amounts from yesterday’s storm totalled 1.17″ in Clifton.

The storm that was responsible for yesterday’s rain will move up to northern New England as high pressure builds from the middle of the country this will give our area a brisk west to northwest flow of cool air today through Thursday, no precipitation is expected except for some possible rain or snow showers well northwest of our area today and again on Wednesday.

Dry weather will continue on Friday but with less wind.

Another storm system is expected to give us more rain over the weekend along with milder temperatures.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures are mild ranging from the low 40s in Clifton to the low 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Another storm system will affect the area today as a low pressure moves up the coast;  rain should develop by noon and become heavy at times ending around midnight.  Rainfall amounts will average between 1-2 inches and a flash flood watch is in effect.   Easterly winds will become gusty by this afternoon.   The rain may end as a period of snow well inland.

Tomorrow will be cooler and windy but we should see some sunshine.

Dry and chilly weather is expected to continue Wednesday through the day on Friday but a weak disturbance may give us a shower Friday night.

After a dry Saturday a stronger system will give a good chance of rain on Saturday night into Sunday.

Rain has ended and we have mostly cloudy skies early on this Sunday morning. Temperatures are mild ranging from the mid 40s in Clifton down to the upper 30s further inland, winds are from the north around 10 mph.   Rainfall in Clifton totaled 1.65″.

The storm that caused the heavy rain last night will be moving northeast of Long Island and out to sea as weak high pressure builds from the south, Sunshine will return today and after having the Arctic blast Thursday and Friday and then stormy weather last night today will be quite pleasant with temperatures reaching the 50s.

Another storm is expected to move up the coast and spread rain from mid morning on Monday through the evening, this storm will not be as strong as last night’s with rainfall amounts expected to be between 1/2 to 1 inch.  Temperatures will be mild so all the precipitation will fall as rain.

Dry weather Tuesday through Saturday but it will be on the chilly side with temperatures averaging around 5 degrees below normal.
