Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and there are some light showers across the Poconos and the Hudson Valley, temperatures with the cloud cover are pretty uniform ranging from around 40 in the Clifton area to the mid 30s further inland, winds are light southerly.

We will have some sunshine by this afternoon after early morning cloudiness, temperatures will rise to near 60 and with light winds it will feel quite comfortable.

Quite mild temperatures Thursday and Friday with some record highs possible as highs reach well up into the 60s, it will be mainly dry but there is a low chance of some drizzle or light rain on Friday as a backdoor cold front will be in the area.

The next chance of significant rain will be with a cold front on Saturday, there may be some drizzle early then rain is likely Saturday night and evening, ahead of the front temperatures will be very mild once again.

Mainly dry and cooler temperatures Sunday through early next week but most readings will still be slightly above normal.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are cooler than the last few mornings ranging from around 30 in the Clifton area to some upper teens in the colder inland valleys, winds are mainly calm.

Today we will see an increase in clouds and with a light onshore wind temperatures will only reach the upper 40s which is still slightly above normal for this time of year.

Tomorrow will have mainly cloudy skies but the temperatures should rise well into the 50s, there is only a very slight chance of a light shower in the morning.

Record warmth is possible on Thursday as the mercury rises to near 70 along with mostly sunny skies.

The next chance of significant showers will be on Saturday as a cold front approaches the area, temperatures will continue to be quite mild.

Dry conditions Sunday and Monday along with cooler temperatures as readings should be closer to normal.

Skies are mostly clear early on this President’s Day morning and temperature are mild once again ranging from the low 40s in the Clifton area to around 30 in some of the inland valleys, winds are light out of the northwest.

After record breaking warmth yesterday today and Tuesday will be cooler but we should remain dry.

A warm front will cause a chance of  showers Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning followed by milder air on Wednesday.

Record breaking warmth is again expected Thursday and possibly into Friday with dry conditions.

A cold front will likely cause some showers on Saturday with cooler and dry weather on Sunday.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are quite mild ranging from the low 50s in the Clifton area but some inland valleys temperatures have fallen to the low 30s, winds are light.

After some early cloudiness this morning today will feature plenty of sunshine and despite a weak cold front moving through the area temperatures will once again reach the 60s which may break some record highs in the area.

Monday and Tuesday will be cooler as high pressure builds over the area from the Great Lakes, a warm front may give us some light showers Tuesday night.

Warmth returns for Wednesday through Friday with high temperatures reaching the 60s once again.   A cold front may cause some showers on Friday into Saturday.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18,  2017  6:00 A.M.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from near 30 in the Clifton area to near 20 further inland winds are light.

We will enjoy a nice spring preview this weekend as a southwest flow around high pressure to our south brings in unseasonably mild air into the region, with plenty of sunshine today and tomorrow will help boost temperatures to near 60 both days and with light winds it will feel very comfortable for February.

A weak cold front will cross the area on Sunday with somewhat cooler air for Monday and Tuesday but with still above normal temperatures.

The next chance of rain will be late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as a warm front approaches the area.

Quite mild again Thursday and Friday with dry conditions continuing.
