Periods of rain falling mainly this morning followed by clearing and becoming very windy this evening into Tuesday!


Skies are cloudy early this Monday morning and there are some pockets of light rain in the area,  temperatures range from the low 40s here in Clifton to the mid 30s in some of the colder inland spots, winds are out of the east around 10 mph.

Today we will have periods of light rain and drizzle into early this afternoon as two low pressure systems one off the coast and the other over the Great Lakes affect our weather, these storms will combine over the Canadian Maritimes tonight causing a very strong westerly winds this evening into Tuesday with gusts of 45 mph possible, a wind advisory is in effect for our region.  We should see clearing by later this afternoon.

Strong winds will continue into Tuesday afternoon with cooler temperatures.

It will be chilly Wednesday morning with some suburb temperatures falling into the 20s, then becoming milder in the afternoon as high pressure will be over the area, there will be much less wind than on Tuesday.

Another frontal system will affect the area from Thursday afternoon into Friday causing showers but with quite mild temperatures.

This upcoming weekend looks to be mainly dry but an Arctic front may cause some rain or snow showers late Saturday followed by colder air on Sunday.

Pleasant weather for Easter Sunday! Rain on Monday and becoming windy! Dry the middle of this week!


Skies are generally cloudy early on this Easter Sunday and temperatures range from the low 40s here in Clifton to some mid 30s further inland, winds are light.

Today will start off cloudy but we should see some clearing by noontime, temperatures will be similar to yesterday’s with a little less wind.

A low pressure system will move into the area on Monday with rain developing before daybreak and extend into the middle of tomorrow afternoon, most of the rain will be light with amounts around 1/4 of an inch.  It will become quite windy late in the day and at night.

High pressure will build into the area giving us dry weather Tuesday and Wednesday with near seasonable temperatures, it will be windy on Tuesday with less wind on Wednesday.

Another low pressure system will move into the area for later in the week with showers and milder temperatures.

Dry weather returns for next weekend with colder temperatures.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the mid 30s in the Clifton area to some upper 20s further inland, winds are light.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine but high temperatures will be around 20 degrees lower than yesterday reaching the mid 50s which is seasonable for the end of March, there will be a light onshore wind.

Continued pleasant but with more clouds on Easter Sunday especially along the coast as a persistent onshore flow from high pressure off the New England coast brings in some of these low clouds.

A frontal system will affect our weather on Monday with some rain likely, total rainfall will be around 1/4 of an inch.

High pressure returns for Tuesday and Wednesday along with seasonable temperatures.

Warmer Thursday and Friday but with a good chance of showers.

Skies are cloudy early on this Good Friday and temperatures range from the mid 40s here in Clifton but are in the 50s further inland where the warm front has passed through, there are some showers falling across the western suburbs.

A cold front moving through the area today will cause showers this morning then we may see some sunshine this afternoon with still a chance of a shower, temperatures will become warmer reaching the 70 degree mark.

High pressure will build into the area from Eastern Canada providing dry conditions over the weekend with near seasonable temperatures.

Rain is likely on Monday as a low pressure system moves into the area.

Dry weather is expected Tuesday through Thursday, temperatures should be slightly below normal on Tuesday rising to above normal by Thursday.

Cooler today! Warmer on Friday with showers! Excellent weather for the weekend!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s here in Clifton to the mid 30s further inland, there is a brisk northeast wind.

The backdoor cold front that we have been mentioning the last couple of days has moved to our south, cooler northeast wind will be with us today with a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures will be noticeably cooler than on Wednesday rising only to the mid 50s.

The front will move back to our north tonight, low temperatures will be this evening and then rise somewhat overnight.  A stronger cold front will move through on Friday which will give the area showers, temperatures will be quite mild again ahead of the front reaching the low 70s.

Dry and with seasonable temperatures over the weekend.

Another low pressure system will move into the area early next week that will give us a chance of showers Monday into Tuesday morning.
