Cooler today! Warmer on Friday with showers! Excellent weather for the weekend!


Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s here in Clifton to the mid 30s further inland, there is a brisk northeast wind.

The backdoor cold front that we have been mentioning the last couple of days has moved to our south, cooler northeast wind will be with us today with a mix of sun and clouds, temperatures will be noticeably cooler than on Wednesday rising only to the mid 50s.

The front will move back to our north tonight, low temperatures will be this evening and then rise somewhat overnight.  A stronger cold front will move through on Friday which will give the area showers, temperatures will be quite mild again ahead of the front reaching the low 70s.

Dry and with seasonable temperatures over the weekend.

Another low pressure system will move into the area early next week that will give us a chance of showers Monday into Tuesday morning.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are milder than the last couple of mornings with readings ranging from the mid 40s here in Clifton to some mid 30s further inland, winds are light.

After some early morning cloudiness we will have partly sunny skies today,  temperatures will be quite mild with highs near 70 degrees.

A weak backdoor cold front will be in the area on Thursday with temperatures a little cooler especially along the coast where winds will be off the ocean, clouds will increase as the day goes on.

A stronger frontal system will cross the area Friday morning preceded by showers and even a thunderstorm Thursday night into Friday morning, temperatures will be mild.

The weather for the weekend looks great with plenty of sunshine and seasonably mild temperatures.

Seasonably mild temperatures continue early next week with a chance of showers on Monday.

Dry weather through the day on Thursday with a warming trend! Showers likely Thursday night into Friday!


Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and it is quite chilly with temperatures ranging from around 30 here in Clifton to the low 20s further inland, winds are light.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine and temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday and with a bit less wind it will be a rather comfortable day after a cool start.

Warmer and dry weather tomorrow and during the day on Thursday, highs on Wednesday will approach the 70 degree mark and similar readings should prevail on Thursday but a backdoor cold front will be close to us to our north so the Hudson Valley may only see highs in the 50s.

Showers are likely Thursday night into Friday as a cold front swings through the area.

Cooler but near seasonable temperatures over the weekend, most of this time will be dry but some showers may move in Easter night and persist into Monday.

Light snow ending with clearing, breezy and seasonably cool day today! Milder weather this week!


Snow has ended in Clifton and we received less than an inch of the white stuff mainly accumulating on colder surfaces, temperatures range from the low 30s here in Clifton to the upper 20s further inland.

Today we will have clearing as the storm system moves further offshore but it will be breezy, temperatures will be milder than yesterday but still a little below normal.

Plenty of sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 50s on Tuesday and in the 60s on Wednesday.

Increasing cloudiness on Thursday with slightly cooler temperatures.  The next chance of rain will be Thursday night into Friday morning.

Mainly dry over the weekend with near seasonable temperatures.

Spring has arrived by snow will be falling tonight! Cool and dry during the day on Monday into Tuesday! Milder the rest of the week!


Skies are mostly clear early this Sunday morning and temperatures range from around 30 here in Clifton to the low 20s further inland, winds are from the north around 5-10 mph.

Today we will see an increase of clouds with a chance of some mixed light rain and snow after 3 p.m., temperatures will be cool.  The latest computer models have the storm moving a little closer to the coast so snow is likely tonight and should accumulate around 1-2 inches before ending Monday morning, more snow will be falling to our east across coastal New Jersey and Long Island and less to our west.  Last year we also had snow on the first day of spring with 3 1/2 inches accumulating.

The snow will end Monday morning with clearing by the afternoon, temperatures will not be as chilly rising to near 50.

Dry weather Tuesday through Thursday, temperatures will be near normal on Tuesday rising to above normal Wednesday and Thursday.

A chance of showers Friday into Saturday as a cold front crosses the area, temperatures will remain above normal.
