Skies are mostly clear this morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s here in Clifton to the upper 20s in the colder inland area, it is a bit breezy with northwest winds gusting to 15 mph.

Today will be a mostly sunny day with seasonably cool temperatures, winds will diminish throughout the day.

A weak disturbance will be moving into the area late tonight giving us a increase in clouds and a slight chance of a shower.

Sunshine returns on Sunday, temperatures will again be seasonably cool but with more wind than today.

Dry weather is expected next week, temperatures will be quite chilly on Monday slowly moderating as the week goes on reaching above normal levels by Thanksgiving.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from the low 50s in Clifton to the mid 40s further inland, there is a northwest wind around 10 mph.

Cooler air will slowly move into the area as high pressure to our west builds into the area, temperatures will hold nearly steady from this morning’s readings then fall to around 50 by sunset, there will be a brisk northwest wind.

The weekend will be seasonably cool, there is a low chance of a shower or even a snow flurry inland early Sunday morning but most areas will remain dry.

Next week looks to be dry the entire week, temperatures will start off chilly on Monday slowly rising as the week goes on.  Thanksgiving’s weather looks very nice with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 50s.

Skies are cloudy early on this Thursday morning and it is quite mild with temperatures ranging from the upper 50s in Clifton to the low 50s in some of the inland spots, winds are from the southeast around 10 mph.

Rain will move into the area by mid morning and becoming heavy at times this afternoon and evening as a slow moving cold front approaches from the west.  A southeast flow will keep temperatures quite mild for this time of year with highs in the 60s.  The rain may be accompanied by a rumble or two of thunder, rainfall amounts of around one to one and half inch is likely. What a difference from a year ago on this date when the low was 18 and the high was only 33 chilly degrees.

Rain should end around midnight tonight with clearing by daybreak on Friday, temperatures tonight will still be mild but only rise a couple of degrees during the day on Friday.

A mainly dry and seasonably cool temperatures over the weekend with the only chance of showers would be around Saturday night, inland it may be cold enough for some snow showers.

Dry weather most of next week, Monday will be the coldest day with a moderation in temperatures as the week goes on.  At this point Thanksgiving will be dry with highs in the mid 50s with even milder readings for the rest of the holiday weekend.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the low 40s here in Clifton to the low 30s in the colder inland areas, winds are light.

We will have considerable cloudiness today with temperatures a few degrees higher than on Tuesday.  High pressure is moving off the New England coast as a storm system approaches from the west, winds will increase from the southeast.

Rain should move into the area before daybreak on Thursday as a cold front associated with the storm system slowly approaches, increasing southeast flow of mild air ahead of the front.  The rain with possibly a rumble of thunder will continue into the evening, look for 1 – 1 1/2 inch of rainfall.

Clearing on Friday, it will be a little cooler but still above normal for this time of year.

Cooler weather will filter into the area over the weekend and persist into early next week, most areas will stay dry but there is a very slight chance of a sprinkle on Sunday, the sprinkle may be a snow flurry well inland.

At this point Thanksgiving looks to be dry with moderating temperatures.

Skies are clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are ranging from the upper 30s here in Clifton to around 30 in the cooler suburbs, winds are from the northeast 5-10 mph.

A backdoor cold front came through late yesterday and a surge of colder air from the north has moved into the area, today will be sunny but with high temperatures more than 15 degrees cooler than on Monday.

The high pressure will move off the New England coast on Wednesday as a storm system to our west slowly approaches, we will have an increase in clouds but we should stay dry with somewhat milder air.

A slow moving cold front will move into the area on Thursday causing rain occasionally heavy at times along with milder temperatures on brisk southeast winds.  At this time rainfall amounts looks to be around 1 – 1 1/2 of an inch.

The front moves offshore on Friday ending the rain and we should see clearing with seasonably mild temperatures.

Cooler on the weekend but we should stay dry although the European model has a low pressure developing in the area that would give us rain but the other models do not have this system affecting our area.
