Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and it is rather mild for this time of year with readings ranging from the upper 50s in Clifton to some 40s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we should see a mix of clouds and sun with pleasantly mild temperatures.

Clouds will increase tonight as a warm front moves through the area, mostly cloudy skies will persist on Friday put it will be warm and even a little humid, showers will develop in the afternoon and continue into the evening as a cold front approaches the area, highs may approach the 80 degree mark.

Great fall weather for the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days, temperatures will be cooler but near seasonable for this time of year.

Dry weather is expected into the middle of next week with temperatures a little above normal.

Another very pleasant fall day today, still nice but slightly cooler on Thursday, showers likely on Friday!


Skies are mostly cloudy in the area early this Wednesday morning, temperatures are not as chilly as yesterday morning with readings ranging from the mid 50s in Clifton to some upper 40s further inland, winds are light northerly.

Today after the morning cloudiness we should enjoy mostly sunny skies, temperatures again will be in the 70s so if you liked yesterday’s weather your will like today’s.

A weak cold front will cross the area tonight, no precipitation is expected with this front.

Tomorrow we will see a return of mostly sunny skies, it will be around five degrees cooler than yesterday but still above normal for this time of year.

A stronger front will likely give us some showers Friday and Friday night,  it will be milder again and a little humid.

High pressure will be in control of our weather for the weekend, Saturday will be cool, milder on Sunday after a rather chilly early morning.

Mainly dry weather early next week with above normal temperatures.

Very pleasant fall weather with milder temperatures today and Wednesday!


We have mostly clear skies early this Tuesday morning and temperatures range from the upper 40s in the Clifton area so some upper 30s in the colder suburbs with 37 degrees currently reported in Basking Ridge, winds are light.

Today we will enjoy plenty of sunshine along with much milder temperatures as readings reach the low 70s by this afternoon.

Not as cool tonight and with the return of sunshine on Wednesday we should see even slightly higher temperatures tomorrow.

Slightly cooler but with still plenty of sunshine on Thursday.

The next chance of rain will be on Friday as a cold front moves into the area, most of the showers should occur in the afternoon and at night, temperatures again will be mild.

Cooler again on Saturday, there is some indications that some rain may persist especially over coastal areas but at the present time we will keep the forecast dry.

Pleasant weather returning for Sunday and early next week with seasonably mild temperatures.

Skies are mostly cloudy early this Monday morning and temperatures range from the upper 40s here in Clifton to some low 40s inland, there is still a northeast breeze but much lighter than the past few days.

High cloudiness this morning is actually extending from Hurricane Joaquin which is several hundred miles offshore,  this cloudiness should give way to mostly sunny skies by this afternoon and temperatures a few degrees higher than what we reached on Sunday, winds will further diminish.

We will have mostly sunny and dry days Tuesday through Thursday with highs reaching the 70s Tuesday and Wednesday with slightly cooler readings on Thursday.

The next chance of showers is with a cold front that will cross the area on Friday, these showers may extend to early Saturday morning.

We should clear out Saturday afternoon and dry weather will continue on Sunday with near seasonable temperatures.

Cloudy today with slowly diminishing winds! Dry and very pleasant fall weather the rest of this week!


Skies are cloudy early this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the low 50s in the Clifton area to the mid 40s further inland, winds continue to be gusty from the northeast.

Today will be a cloudy day, high temperatures are expected to be around five degrees milder than the last couple of days, minor to moderate coastal flooding will continue for the New Jersey coast. South Carolina is getting drenched with historic rainfall from this nor’easter with over a foot of rain in some spots.  A few days ago the models indicated that our area would have that flooding rains followed by Hurricane Joaquin, lucky for us that didn’t happen.

We can expect dry and pleasant weather for the next several days with milder temperatures, the only chance of rain may be with a front passing through Friday night.
