Sunny, breezy and warm today! Cooler and dry on Sunday! Rain on Monday!


Skies are clear early this morning and temperatures range from the low 50s here in Clifton to the low 40s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

A unseasonably warm day can be expected today with a good chance that we will reach the 80 degree mark, the last 80 degree day was last September 28th.  Winds will be picking up this afternoon and along with low humidity and warm conditions there is an enhanced chance of brush fires today, a red flag warning is in effect for the area.

A cold front will come through this evening and Sunday will be much cooler as winds become northerly then southeast as high pressure builds down from Eastern Canada.

A low pressure system moving in from the south and west will cause rain on Monday, at this point the heaviest rain will fall in the morning tapering off in the afternoon, expect about an inch of rainfall.

After a chance of a shower Tuesday morning it will then become mostly sunny and seasonably mild.

Wednesday through Friday will be cool and mainly dry but we will have a chance of showers on Thursday.

Cloudy and milder today with some showers! Dry weekend, warm on Saturday, cooler on Sunday!


We have cloudy skies early this morning and temperatures are pretty uniform mainly in the low 50s,  the main area of showers have moved offshore but there are still some scattered showers in the area, winds are light southwesterly.

Today will be cloudy with some showers, despite the overcast conditions temperatures will be mild reaching the 70 degree mark. Showers will end early this evening followed by a mostly clear and mild night.

Tomorrow should be the warmest day of the year so far with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures well up into the 70s with an 80 degree mark not out of the question, winds will be gusty however.

Sunday we will continue to have plenty of sunshine but temperatures will be much cooler.

Widespread rain will fall on Monday tapering off to showers on Tuesday, Monday will be cool with the rain and somewhat milder on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts 1 1/2 to 2 inches are possible.

Seasonably cool with dry conditions Wednesday and Thursday.

Plenty of sunshine and cooler today! Some showers on Friday! Dry weekend!


Skies are clear early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 40s in Clifton to some mid 30s in the colder inland suburbs, winds are light from the north.

Today high pressure to our north will provide us with plenty of sunshine, temperatures will be slightly cooler than yesterday as winds will become onshore off the colder ocean by this afternoon.

On Friday we will have some light showers mostly falling from around 8 a.m. till 2 p.m., temperatures will be milder than today.

Sunshine returns on Saturday along with warm temperatures as high readings will reach the mid to some upper 70s.

Sunday will continued to be dry but with cooler temperatures.

Widespread rain is expected on Monday that may be heavy at times, rainfall amounts may be up to two inches in some spots, along with cooler temperatures.

Some showers may continue on Tuesday with seasonably mild temperatures.

I want to wish my wonderful daughter Jessica a very Happy Birthday –  On April 16th the highest temperature here was 89 degrees set in 2002 and 2012 with the lowest reading of 28 degrees just set last year.

Skies are partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from around 50 in the Clifton area to mostly the 40s inland although some 30s are being reported in the colder areas of Warren County, winds are light.

Today we will have a rather nice and mild day with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures approaching the 70 degree mark. Cooler tonight with lows dipping to near 40 in Clifton to some 30s inland.

Thursday will be dry but cooler as we will have more of a easterly wind flow off the cold Atlantic ocean.

Chance of showers on Friday mostly falling in the morning, temperatures will be seasonably mild.

The weekend weather looks more promising as we should remain dry, we may see the warmest temperatures of the spring so far on Saturday with highs in the 70s, not as mild on Sunday.

Chance of rain and cooler on Monday with clearing and seasonably mild temperatures on Tuesday.

Showers this morning, sunshine by this afternoon. Dry Wednesday and Thursday!


It is quite mild early this morning with temperatures in the area in the upper 50s, winds are light, showers are now moving into northwest parts of New Jersey.

A cold front will cause showers this morning with partial clearing this afternoon, not much cold air behind the front so we should see high temperatures in the 60s.

Dry conditions are expected Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will be mild on Wednesday but slightly cooler on Thursday as winds will be more onshore from the still cold Atlantic Ocean.

Unsettled weather Friday into the weekend as a frontal system moves into our area giving a chance of showers each day, temperatures will average slightly above normal.
