A southwest flow from high pressure offshore will give us a quite warm day today with plenty of sunshine and slowly increasing humidity.

Extreme heat expected for Friday with high temperatures reaching the upper 90s and with higher humidity will cause the heat index to rise to over 105 degrees. A cold front is expected to move through at night with some strong thunderstorms possible.

Weak high pressure will then build into the area on Saturday giving us plenty of sunshine and it will be less hot and humid.

A frontal system will likely give us more showers and thunderstorms on Sunday and with more clouds high temperatures will be lower, but it will continue to be humid.

Hot and humid weather returns Monday through Wednesday with only a low chance of showers Wednesday afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches our area.

High pressure over the area today will give us a mostly sunny day with near normal temperatures. The humidity will slowly rise with dew points in the 60s.

As the high moves offshore we will have a return southwesterly flow of hot and humid air Thursday and Friday, highs should be in the low 90s on Thursday and the upper 90s on Friday. Dew points will be near 70. A cold front is expected to come through Friday evening giving us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon through Friday night.

The front will be in our area for the weekend giving us unsettled weather both days with humid conditions and chance of showers and thunderstorms especially on Sunday. Highs will be near 90 on Saturday but only in the low to mid 80s on Sunday.

Weak high pressure will then build into our area for early next week giving us dry weather but it will be quite warm and humid.

High pressure north of the Great Lakes will give us another nice summer day with plenty of sunshine. High temperatures will be a little cooler than yesterday with readings near 80 degrees. The humidity will stay low with dew points in the comfortable 50s. Winds will be lighter than yesterday.

The high pressure will be near our area on Wednesday and temperatures and humidity will be higher with continued mostly sunny skies.

Hot and humid weather Thursday and Friday. Highs on Thursday will be in the low 90s and will be in the upper 90s on Friday. A weak cold front may touch off some evening showers on Friday.

The weak front will be in our area over the weekend and it should stay quite warm and humid with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms both days. Saturday will be hot but Sunday should be a little cooler.

High pressure will then build into the area for early next week with continued quite warm temperatures.

High pressure building from the Great Lakes will give us sunny skies today with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity as dew points drop to the low 50s by this afternoon.

Another sunny day on Tuesday with high temperatures a few degrees cooler than today along with continued low humidity.

Wednesday, as the high pressure is over the area, will continue the dry weather but with warmer temperatures and just slightly more humidity.

A warm front is moving to our north this morning and may give us a chance of a shower. During the day it will be quite warm and humid, but a cold front will come through tonight preceded by a chance of some showers and thunderstorms. The chances of precipitation is only 40% so much of the area may remain dry today with partly sunny skies.

High pressure will then build into our area for Monday and Tuesday giving us mostly sunny skies both days with seasonably warm temperatures but the humidity will be very low with some dew points in the very comfortable 40s.

The high will gradually move offshore on Wednesday and we will have a return flow of warmer and gradually more humid air for Wedesday.
