Cold and dry through Friday! Rain or snow Saturday night into Sunday!


We have partly cloudy skies early this morning and temperatures have dipped to the mid 20s in the Clifton area to around 20 further inland, these temperatures although cold are actually near normal for this time of year.

Today we will have a mix of clouds and sun, temperatures will be slightly below normal, mainly in the mid 30s.

Seasonably cold weather will continue into Friday along with dry conditions, winds may be a little brisk on New Year’s Day.

A storm system will be affecting the area from late Saturday into Sunday, at the present time it appears the precipitation will fall mainly as rain but may begin with a wintery mix especially inland.

Cold  and dry weather will return next week.

Colder but dry weather much of this week!


Skies are mostly cloudy at daybreak this morning, temperatures range from the low 30s in the Clifton area to the upper 20s further inland, winds are light.

Today we will be a mostly sunny day, temperatures will still be slightly above normal reaching the low 40s.

Colder air will filter in as a large high pressure builds eastward from the western states, high temperatures Tuesday through Friday will be in the 30s and lows in the 20s which is slightly below normal for this time of year, however no precipitation is expected and the days will have plenty of sunshine.

The next chance of precipitation will be over the weekend and it will become milder so if precipitation does occur it should fall mainly as rain.

Mild with periods of rain today! Colder weather for the workweek!


Light rain has moved into the Clifton area at daybreak this morning, temperatures are mild with readings mainly in the low 40s, winds are light.

Today we will have cloudy skies with periods of light rain that should end early this evening, temperatures will be mild with most highs just over the 50 degree mark.  Rainfall amounts should range from 1 to 2 tenths of an inch.

Cooler and dry on Monday with plenty of sunshine.

Cold but not frigid air will be with us Tuesday through Friday and it should be dry.

A storm may affect us next weekend and how it looks right now it would be mainly a rain event possibly beginning as some snow.

We have partly cloudy skies early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s in the Clifton area to some upper 20s in the cooler valleys, winds are light.

Today will feature plenty of sunshine with high temperatures well up into the 50s and with light winds today will feel very comfortable for late December.

A cold front will be coming though on Sunday giving us a chance of showers.

Seasonably cold most of next week but we should remain dry.

Mild and dry weather today through most of Sunday! Showers Sunday evening then colder!


Skies are mostly clear in the Clifton area at daybreak and temperatures range from the mid 30s in the Clifton area to the upper 20s further inland, winds are light.

Today will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures approaching the 50 degree mark and with light winds it will feel quite comfortable for this time of year.

On Saturday the mild and dry weather will continue and high temperatures a couple of degrees higher than today.

A cold front will cross the area Sunday evening, showers should accompany the front, however most of Sunday will continue to be mild and dry.

Colder next week but not frigid and we should stay dry through New Year’s Day.
