Skies are mainly cloudy and it is mild with early morning temperatures around 50 in the Clifton area but ranges down to the mid 30s further inland where there is still a heavier snowpack on the ground.

A cold front will be crossing the area this afternoon only accompanied by a slight chance of sprinkles, ahead of the front it will be mild with temperatures reaching the upper 50s despite limited sunshine.   Colder tonight behind the front as winds become northerly as high pressure builds into the area.

Tuesday will be chilly and cloudy and as the high moves offshore a front to our south will cause some light precipitation starting off as snow and sleet and changing to rain as warmer air moves in late at night, accumulations should will be less than 1/2 of an inch in the Clifton area to an inch or two further inland.

A warm front will move to our north and Wednesday will be a milder day but still with considerable cloudiness.

Dry and seasonably chilly Thursday and most of Friday but we may have some mixed precipitation on Friday night.

Lots of clouds with a chance of rain over the weekend,  temperatures will average slightly above normal.

We have mostly cloudy skies at daybreak this morning with temperatures almost 20 degrees higher than this time yesterday morning ranging from around 40 in the Clifton area to some upper 20 further inland where there is a heavier snow pack, winds are light.

A warm front is moving through the area this morning and today will be noticeably warmer than the last few days with temperatures rising into the 50s despite considerable cloudiness.  Tonight will be cloudy and mild with a slight chance of sprinkles.

A cold front will cross the area on Monday but it still will be mild during the day but getting colder at night.

Tuesday will be colder as high pressure builds into the area but the cold will be short lived as a warm front will be approaching giving the area a chance of light rain or snow at night.

Mild with a chance of light rain on Wednesday.

Dry weather on Thursday with seasonably temperatures.

A weak disturbance will cause considerable cloudiness on Friday with a chance of rain or snow.

Continued mostly cloudy to start next weekend with a chance of light rain on Saturday.

Another chilly morning around the area this early morning with temperatures ranging from around 20 in the Clifton area to some readings around 10 degrees inland where there is more snowpack, winds are calm and skies mostly cloudy.

Considerable cloudiness could be expected during the day today and temperatures will not rise out of the 30s.  Tonight temperatures will not drop and may even rise toward morning as a southerly wind develops off of high pressure offshore.

Sunday we will have morning cloudy conditions and there is a slight chance of some drizzle that may be falling as freezing drizzle well inland, then during the day we can expect skies to clear and temperatures rising to near 50 degrees.

A cold front will come through on Monday possibly setting off some morning showers, mild conditions should continue but get colder at night.

Cold air will be over us on Tuesday with temperatures not rising out of the 30s once again despite plenty of sunshine.

Milder air returns on Wednesday but with some light rain possible that could start off as a little snow inland in the morning.

Dry with seasonable temperatures on Thursday.

Friday there is another chance of light rain or snow.

No significant precipitation or storms are expected the next seven days.

After early morning cloudiness and maybe a few flurries it will becoming mostly sunny and cold, high temperatures only in the 30s.

Another cold but dry day on Saturday, skies will be mostly cloudy.

Milder on Sunday as temperatures reach the 50s.

Still mild on Monday but there may be some showers at night as a cold front moves across the area.

Tuesday will be colder as high pressure builds from the north.

The cold will be short lived as we should have milder temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday.  There is a chance of rain on Wednesday.

At daybreak on this Thanksgiving morning we have cloudy skies, temperatures are a little above freezing in the Clifton area to a little below freezing inland, winds are light.  Be careful driving and walking on untreated roads and walkways this morning.

Yesterday in Clifton we picked up around 3 inches of snow, inland especially the higher elevations reported much more snow accumulations ranging up to 11.5 inches at Highland Lakes in Sussex County.  Much less snow fell to our east with less than an inch in New York City.

Today we will have mainly cloudy skies with a chance of a flurry mainly across inland sections, temperatures will be below normal topping off near the 40 degree mark.

Black Friday will be mostly sunny with continued chilly temperatures.

The weekend will be mostly cloudy, Saturday will be chilly but milder weather is in store for the area on Sunday.

Monday will continue to be mild with a chance of showers as a cold front moves across our area.

Cooler and dry on Tuesday but milder again on Wednesday  with again a chance of showers.
