Another warm day to start the workweek! Cooler with a chance of light rain Tuesday night into Wednesday!

We have cloudy skies early this morning along with mild temperatures ranging from the low 60s in the Clifton area to some upper 50s further inland, winds are calm.

Today we will have more cloudiness than on the weekend but enough sunshine will occur to give us another warm day reaching the low 80s in most areas.

On Tuesday we will have a cold front approaching from the north and with a disturbance moving well offshore will cause considerable cloudiness and cooler temperatures.  The best chance of rain will be from Tuesday night into Wednesday, at this time appears that rain if it occurs will be quite light.

Dry with near normal temperatures Thursday into most of Friday.

A stronger cold front will move through the area Friday night or early Saturday giving us a good chance of showers.

Much cooler on Sunday with clearing skies.

Have a good day!

Quite warm today with some record high temperatures likely!

Temperatures under clear skies early this morning have dropped to the upper 50s in the Clifton area to even some upper 40s well inland, winds are light.

Again another stellar weather day today with plenty of sunshine and temperatures will quickly rise reaching the 80s once again today with record highs likely, the record in Clifton is 81 degrees set in 1987.

Still warm on Monday although we will have more clouds but high temperatures will still reach the low 80s.

Latest indications are that the coastal storm we talked about yesterday for the mid-week period will be weaker and further offshore, the European model has backed off from the threat of heavy rain and at this point there is only a slight chance of showers around Tuesday (sorry Curt).  Temperatures will be cooler with more cloud cover and an onshore wind.

The next chance of showers will be with a cold front Friday night into Saturday.

Have a good day!

Quite warm for the last weekend in September!

Skies are mostly clear at daybreak this morning with temperatures ranging from the mid 50s in the Clifton area to some upper 40s in the normally cooler areas inland, winds are light.

A gorgeous weekend is on tap for our area with warm temperatures both days along with plenty of sunshine and low humidity.

The warm weather will continue into Monday but we should have an increase in clouds as a cold front approaches from the north.

Very low confidence in the forecast for the middle of next week as another coastal low is expected to develop, the computer models are much different of what will occur with the European model indicating heavy rain for the area with over 5 inches possible while the American model has the area mainly dry with less than a tenth of an inch of rain, at this point we will just show a chance of some rain Tuesday and Wednesday.  Temperatures will be cooler but how cool it will be is still in question.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 50s.

SUNDAY – Sunny, high in the low 80s.

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – North wind to 8 knots, seas 2-3 feet.

OUTLOOK – Sub-advisory level conditions Sunday and Monday with small craft advisories likely Tuesday and Wednesday with possible gale warnings on both days.

Have a good day!

Much improved weather today through the weekend!

We have mostly clear skies early this morning with most temperatures are in the 50s.

Today we will enjoy plenty of sunshine and temperatures will be much warmer than yesterday reaching near 80 in some spots.

As has been the case since Memorial Day weekend we will enjoy great weather for this weekend with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 80s along with comfortable humidity.

Still warm and dry Monday with highs maybe a couple of degrees lower than on the weekend.

Another low pressure may give us a chance of rain on Tuesday however this storm may stay well offshore keeping us dry.

Dry with mild temperatures are expected Wednesday through the end of the workweek.
