Warm weather to extend through the weekend!


With mostly clear skies temperatures early this morning are around 60 in the Clifton area to near 50 further inland.
Today we will have mostly sunny skies once again, temperatures will be a couple of degrees lower than the 84 degrees that was recorded yesterday.
On Friday a weak warm front will be moving into the area increasing the cloud cover along with a chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm, high temperatures will be around 80 along with higher humidity.
At this time the weekend will be warm and rather humid but it should stay rain free.
A more significant rain maker may occur on Monday and Tuesday as a cold front approaches from the west along with tropical moisture from the soon to be named tropical storm Karen that will be moving north from the Gulf of Mexico.
Clearing with continued above normal temperatures Wednesday which should last the rest of next week.

Near record high temperatures today!


Under clear skies and light winds temperatures in the Clifton area fell to around 60 degrees early this morning, however inland areas are much cooler with even some 40s reported.
As the sun comes up this morning temperatures will quickly rise reaching the mid 80s by this afternoon and may break the record high for October 2nd in Clifton of 84 degrees set back in 2002.
Thursday may be a couple of degrees lower but still well above normal for this time of year.
On Friday a weak front in our area may set off a shower or thunderstorm, it will also become more humid.
Warm and humid weather for this upcoming weekend but we should stay dry.
The next chance of significant rain will be Monday into Tuesday as a slow moving front moves in from the west along with a possible tropical system (Karen?) that will be moving north from the Gulf of Mexico.
Above normal temperatures should continue most of next week.

Warmer weather in the forecast as we start October!


With mostly clear skies temperatures in the Clifton area are in the mid 50s but 40s inland.
Plenty of sunshine and a westerly wind will cause temperatures to rise into the low 80s today.
On Wednesday record high temperatures may occur as readings may reach the upper 80s..
Not quite as warm Thursday and Friday but temperatures still may approach the 80 degree mark.
The best chance of rain will be Sunday into Monday as a cold front moves through our area. Afternoon temperatures on the weekend will still be above normal reaching the upper 70s.
Cooler weather early next week but temperatures will be at or slightly above normal.

Dry weather continues this week with a warming trend!


Cool and mostly clear this morning overnight lows fell to around 50 degrees in the Clifton area with 40s inland.
Today we will have mostly sunny skies temperatures may be a touch milder than yesterday with highs in the low to some mid 70s.
A warming trend will start tomorrow and extend into the weekend with the warmest day of the week being Wednesday with temperatures rising to the mid 80s which is about 15 degrees warmer than normal.
A cold front will be approaching the area on Saturday with the best chance of showers should be on Sunday. Temperatures on the weekend will continue to be quite mild.

Beautiful weather to close the weekend!


Early morning temperatures under mostly clear skies are in the low 50s in the Clifton area with the 40s reported further inland.
High pressure over the area will give us another nice day to close the weekend with mostly sunny conditions and high temperatures similar to yesterday rising to the low 70s.
Fair weather will continue into Monday as the storm system we have talked about the last few days will remain well out in the Atlantic..
Warming trend starting Tuesday and last the rest of the week with Wednesday being the warmest day when temperatures are expected to rise to the low 80s.
The next chance of rain will be around next weekend as a cold front will be approaching the area followed by cooler weather..
