Under clear skies temperatures at daybreak range from the low 50s in the Clifton area to some upper 30s in the coldest areas of Northwest New Jersey.
If you liked yesterday’s weather you will enjoy today’s also as we will have abundant sunshine and temperatures again in the mid-upper 70s, winds will be light and the humidity will be low.
Thursday will be a transition day as two separate low pressure systems will be approaching the area, one from the west and a tropical low now in the Gulf of Mexico. Most of the area will remain dry tomorrow but with more cloud cover and an onshore wind temperatures will be a couple of degrees cooler. Rain will develop in the evening.
Heavy rain is possible Friday into Saturday as the tropical low moves up the coast, if the storm moves quick enough we may have some clearing late in the day on Saturday but the timing of this system is still in question this far out..

Marvelous early June weather today and Wednesday!

The rain has pushed offshore and we have clear skies this morning and temperatures have fallen to the low 50s in the Clifton area with some 40s in the normally colder areas of northwest New Jersey. Along with the drop in temperatures the humidity has come way down with dew points that were in the 60s the last few days have fallen to the low 40s.

Pleasant weather continues on Wednesday after a cool start and again with plenty of sunshine temperatures will rise back into the 70s.
Thursday is a transition day as high pressure moves offshore we should have increasing cloudiness with a chance of showers developing at night.
Interesting weather pattern for Friday into Saturday as a tropical low pressure system that now is between Cancun and Cuba will be moving up our coast. This system has a chance of developing into a low end tropical storm but even if it doesn’t we still could get very heavy rain Friday into at least Saturday morning..
Hopefully the system moves quickly enough so that we get some clearing later in the day on Saturday.
Sunday will be a better day with seasonably warm temperatures.
