Temperatures this morning are in the mid 20s but with a gusty wind it feels much colder. It will not get much better during the day today as we will have a hard time reaching the freezing mark and with wind gusts to 40MPH it will feel more like the teens all day long. At least we didn’t get any snow as the storm was far enough offshore, it did give Eastern Long Island up to 5 inches of the white stuff. The cold extends all the way to Southern Florida this morning as it is only 40 degrees in Rotunda Beach.
Tonight it will stay windy and with temperatures falling to the mid-teens the wind chill will be around zero.
Moderating temperatures by Monday afternoon. The next chance of precipitation will be on Tuesday most of it falling as rain as readings will rise into the 40s but there is a chance of some snow if the precipitation starts early enough on Tuesday morning inland. Colder weather for Wednesday and Thursday. Another chance of rain or snow on Friday. A little milder next weekend.

After temperatures in the spring-like 50s yesterday a cold front came through our area shortly before midnight, precipitation accompanied and followed the front starting off as rain and changed to snow around 3AM. Today will be mostly cloudy, a low pressure will be moving along this front but most if not all the snow should be offshore. Sunday will be very cold with high temperatures barely reaching the freezing mark and with strong gusty winds the wind chills will be in the teens. Plenty of sunshine on Monday will moderate temperatures in the afternoon after a frigid morning.
Tuesday will be milder with rain likely. Colder and dry Wednesday and Thursday with another chance of rain or snow on Friday!

We start off this morning with early morning temperatures around 30 degrees and with some sunshine it will be rather mild day today with highs near 50 degrees. A cold front will be slowly pushing through the area tonight followed by followed by colder weather and a chance of some light snow towards daybreak on Saturday. A storm forecast to form on this front will continue to give a chance of snow and amounts will depend on how far offshore this storm tracks, at the present time it appears that we may be pick up a couple inches of snow but that is a low confidence forecast. On Sunday it will be windy and much colder with highs having a hard time reaching the freezing mark. Not as cold on Monday and it will be dry. On Tuesday another cold front will give us a chance of rain showers with milder temperatures. Dry and seasonably cold on Wednesday and Thursday but there is a chance of another storm toward next weekend.

Low pressure that gave us about 1/2″ of snow last night has moved well offshore and high pressure is building in, we will have mostly sunny day with light winds and temperatures in the mid 40s.
Even a little milder on Friday with highs approaching 50 degrees. A cold front will move through the area late on Friday bringing cooler air with it and a weak disturbance moving along the front gives us a chance of a little light snow Friday night into Saturday morning. Even colder on Sunday and it will be windy, temperatures will have a hard time reaching the freezing mark.
Not as cold on Presidents Day with sunny skies. Milder Tuesday but with rain chances increasing.

This morning we are starting out seasonably cold with most temperatures in the upper 20s, winds are light and skies are clear.. Today we will have sunshine followed by increasing clouds in the afternoon with highs mostly in the mid 40s. Snow will develop this evening possibly as a mix of rain, the heaviest snow will be from around 8PM to 2AM, accumulations will be generally 1-3″ with the highest amounts to our south and east. Clearing on Thursday with highs again in the 40s. Mild on Friday ahead of a cold front, readings may approach 50 degrees. Colder on the weekend, present indications show that a low pressure will form well out to sea and spare us any additional snow, Sunday will be particularly cold with a gusty wind and temperatures rising only to the freezing mark. Slow moderation of temperatures along with dry conditions early next week.
