Pleasant Sunday!

The storm that we have been tracking the last several days is moving well to our south giving areas around the Virginia and North Carolina border some snow. Here it will be partly to mostly day with highs still above normal in the mid to upper 40s..

Tomorrow will have a brisk north wind especially in the morning but not a frigid wind as the February sun will again boast temps. to the upper 40s.

Tuesday will start out dry but there is a weak system moving through that will give us a chance of rain showers Tuesday late afternoon into Wednesday morning. Now well inland some of the rain will be snow showers that may whiten the ground.

Wednesday will be quite mild with clearing skies with highs in the mid 50s to even around 60 degrees.

Another chance of rain on Thursday, high around 50..

So far this far out it looks cooler but dry from Friday through next weekend with highs in the low 40s..

No skewering for me…. yippee…

Storm stays well south, mild week ahead again!

Well the storm that at one point would give us some winter weather on Sunday will stay well to our south giving snow to the hills of western Virginia and West Virginia but nothing in our area..

Today will be mild with a high near 50.. Increasing cloudiness this afternoon and with a weak cold front moving through this evening there is a low chance of some mainly rain showers.

Sunday will be cooler with the highs in the 40s but with no precipitation.

Monday and Tuesday will have readings in the 40s with dry conditions.

Back to highs in the 50s Wednesday through Friday with a low chance of showers each day.

The non-winter weather continues!

Mild weather next couple of days, chances of snow on Sunday deminishing!

After some clouds and drizzle this morning the afternoon will be mostly sunny and it will be mild with highs in the low to mid 50s.

Tomorrow another nice day with high clouds increasing late in the day, high around 50.

The Sunday storm that threatened us with snow appears it will miss us to the south, only a small chance of precipitation late Saturday night into Sunday (20%) which if it fell would be a snow and rain mix, southern New Jersey has a better chance (60%) of having a rain and snow mix. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 40s.

Monday will be dry with highs in the low to mid 40s.

Again milder most of next week with highs approaching 50 degrees Wednesday through Friday, best chance of rain will be on Wednesday…

A close call for Sunday!

The afternoon computer analysis has Sunday’s storm just brushing the area but it is a complicated situation.  At the present time there is only a slight to low chance (20-30%) of having any precipitation.   Down across southern New Jersey the chances are higher around 60%.  Also at this point it is difficult to know where the rain/snow line will be.  Still plenty of time to watch this storm..  Stay tuned..

Rain today! Watching storm for Sunday!!!!

Today and tonight get ready for some light rain from around 3PM to before dawn on Friday, less than 1/4 inch will fall with highs in the 40s.

Friday and Saturday will be nice and mild with highs near 50 degrees..

Guess many of you have heard about a potential storm on Sunday that may give us some snow.  It is not impossible to get snow in the mild pattern we are having but the storm track has to be almost perfect, as of right now I would forecast some light snow changing to a mix of rain or to all rain during the day on Sunday, too early to tell about accumulations but of course inland areas have the best chance of higher amounts.  The storm can still miss us to the south..

Monday and Tuesday look to be seasonably mild with highs in the low 40s..

Wednesday another storm will approach this time it looks like just plain rain with milder air again moving in…

Will update this forecast later today for the storm on Sunday!!

After some showers this morning the sun will come out this afternoon!

We had a little rain last night with snow well inland, today the showers will taper off this morning and this afternoon there will be some clearing, mild with a high near 50..

Clouds return on Thursday with rain from around 4pm till 4 am on Friday, just light rain with less than 1/4 inch of precipitation.

Friday clearing and mild again near 50 degrees..

Saturday still dry with highs in the upper 40s.

Now on Sunday some of the computer models are showing a storm that may be close enough to us to give us some snow or rain, chances are low right now but something to continue to keep an eye on.

No frigid cold air the rest of February!

Another mild week ahead with only a small chance of sprinkles today and early Wednesday, highs today in the 40s and in the low 50s tomorrow.

Thursday rain will develop around 4PM, may start as snow inland Sussex co and upstate New York, rain will end around 4AM on Friday.

Friday will be mild again with highs near 50 with clearing skies.

Saturday and into most of Sunday will be dry with highs in the 40s..

Just a hint of a possible storm later Sunday into Monday, one computer model has it coming up the coast while most of the other computers have it go well out to sea, something to keep an eye on.. Even in mild patterns we can still have snow if the conditions are right…

The long, long range forecast continues the above normal temps through the rest of February…

Back to mild weather this week!

After a chilly weekend with a little snow we will again have temperatures above normal this week as we are enjoying a mild winter.. In fact since December 1st we have had only 14 below normal days and 60 above normal average readings, and it looks like the rest of February will continue the trend of milder than normal weather.

Today will be dry with highs about 8 degrees warmer than yesterday, low 40s.

Tuesday there is a low chance of afternoon rain possibly mixed with snow in the afternoon, highs again in the lower 40s..

Milder Wednesday through Friday with again a chance of mainly rain on Thursday.
Highs near 50 degrees.

At this point the weekend looks dry and still seasonably mild with highs in the low to mid 40s…

Cold today with flurries! Warmer week ahead “again”!!

Well one more winter type day after the much hyped snowstorm that gave our area a whole half an inch of snow yesterday.  Today will be actually the first below normal day of February.  It will start off sunny but becoming mostly cloudy with a chance of snow flurries, the winds will diminish as the day goes along..

Tomorrow after a chilly start readings again will reach the 40s, dry weather

Tuesday will still be in the 40s but there is a chance of snow or rain showers in the afternoon and evening..

Wednesday through Friday continued mild although there may be some rain Thursday night into Friday..

Enjoy the winter weather this weekend, back to spring type weather next week!

The snow will end for the most part around noon giving this area barely 1 inch. The precipitation may change to plain rain as temps reach to near 40 degrees this afternoon.

An Arctic cold front later this afternoon will bring some snow flurries or snow showers that may give us a quick burst of snow..

Windy tonight and tomorrow with lows around 20 degrees and highs mostly in the low 30s on Sunday, still may be some flurries around.

Now back to near normal temps on Monday and then above normal readings the rest of the week with highs in the 40s.. We may have some rain or snow showers on Tuesday afternoon or evening otherwise most of the week will be dry.
