Maybe today the sun will break through this fog! Warm holiday weekend!

I am kind of surprised that no one commented on my lousy forecast yesterday, the sun never came out in this area and temperatures stayed in the 60s as a weak warm front was to our south across Central New Jersey. Yesterday turned out to be more like Monday, however Southern New Jersey did have sun and temperatures near 80 degrees.

So we will try again as we wake up to fog and some drizzle but the sun “should” make an appearance by this afternoon and highs in the upper 70s and with this high humidity a chance of some scattered thunderstorms that canl cause heavy downpours.

Tonight fog returns with temperatures only falling to the mid 60s.

Warmer weather still on tap for the holiday weekend. Saturday will have partly sunny skies with only a slight chance of a thunderstorm, highs in the upper 80s.

Sunday there may be a few more clouds around again with only a slight chance of a scattered thunderstorm, highs in the lower 80s.

Memorial Day will have a slightly better chance of a thunderstorm but also with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will still be warm in the 80s with a continued chance of thunderstorms..

Finally less humid by the end of next week…

Marine Forecast: Seas and winds will be below advisory levels but boaters should be aware of fog and scattered thunderstorms through Tuesday.
