After a wonderful weekend rain is coming to start the week!


This morning it is cloudy, mild and rather humid, showers are breaking out across southeast Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey and that will move up into our area by this afternoon, high temperatures will be in the low 70s.

Tonight showers that will be heavy at times, humid with lows in the lower 60s.

Tuesday rain most of the day with a chance of thunderstorms, humid conditions continuing with a high around 70 degrees..

Showers will persist into at least Wednesday morning then as a cold front moves across, humidity levels will decrease but it will be warm with some afternoon sun with a high in the upper 70s.

Thursday through the weekend right now looks dry and mild with highs in the 70s.

Marine Forecast – Seas will increase over the ocean to 5-8 with southerly swells so small craft advisories from this afternoon through Tuesday. Sub-advisory levels from Wednesday though next weekend.

Warm and dry for Mother’s Day!


Today we have more cloudiness with higher humidity than yesterday but there will be enough breaks in the high clouds for temperatures to rise again to the low 80s.

Most of the evening will be dry also but there will be a chance of showers mainly after midnight, it will be muggy with lows in the low 60s.

Monday there is a 50% chance of showers with highs in the low 70s.

The heaviest rain in showers and thundershowers will be from Monday night into early Wednesday morning.. Tuesday’s high will be in the upper 60s.

Clearing Wednesday and the rest of the week looks very pleasant with highs mostly in the mid 70s.

At this point next weekend appears to be dry and mild with highs in the pleasant 70s..

Marine forecast: For the most part winds and seas will stay below small craft advisory levels, however seas will increase to near advisory levels well out in the open ocean by Tuesday..

Warm Mother’s Day weekend!


After a cool start this morning plenty of sunshine will cause temperatures to rise quickly and reach near 80 degrees this afternoon.

On Mother’s Day the warm conditions will continue however there is a chance of a shower in the late afternoon and evening, high again near 80 degrees..

Wet weather likely Monday through Wednesday with the best chance of heavy rain Monday night into Tuesday, a couple of inches of rain is possible. High temperatures will range from the upper 60s to the low 70s..

Drier weather later in the week with highs mostly in the 70s..

Marine forecast: Good boating weather during the weekend but small craft advisories may be needed Monday through Wednesday.

Clear chilly early morning Friday!


Temperatures this morning are in the mid 40s, the coolest so far this month, however with plenty of sunshine today highs will reach near 70 degrees today.

Saturday it will be warmer and again lots of sun with highs in the upper 70s.

Sunday a bit more clouds but staying warm with highs again in the upper 70s, slight chance of a shower later in the afternoon..

Monday and Tuesday, unsettled with showers quite possible, highs mainly in the low 70s.

Another warming trend towards the end of next week..

Marine forecast: Although a bit breezy this morning, conditions will be below small craft advisory levels and should stay that way through early next week.
