Rain developing this afternoon!

Tuesday is starting off cloudy and muggy with temperatures in the 60s.  Moisture coming in from the west as a cold front approaches also from tropical moisture from the south will cause rain to develop over the area this afternoon, steadiest and heaviest after 3PM.  Daytime temperatures will only climb a few degrees into the low – mid 70s as we will have the clouds and an onshore flow off the still cool ocean.

Tonight rain moderate to heavy at times, mild and muggy with lows in the mid 60s.  About an inch of rain expected with some locally higher amounts.

Wednesday most of the steady rain will end by 7am and we may have some breaks of sun but it will remain mostly cloudy with still a chance of a shower, highs in the mid 70s but if we have more sunshine temperatures will approach 80 degrees..

Thursday and Friday partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s.

The weekend looks real nice with seasonably mild temperatures in the upper 70s with plenty of sunshine..

Warming trend next week!

Marine forecast:  South winds today to 14 knots, waves around 4 feet.  Sub small craft advisory levels through the weekend.
