Showers likely developing later this afternoon!


We had a brief shower around 3:30AM that gave us only .01″ of rain, now there will be a break in the rain until later this afternoon, may have a peak or two of sunshine but despite the mostly cloudy skies temperatures will reach the upper 70s and it will be a little muggy also. The showers will move in mostly after 4pm and extend most of the evening hours. Thursday will be a nice day but more rain will be in the forecast from late Thursday night through the weekend, nighttime temperatures during this period will be milder than normal mostly in the upper 50s but daytime temperatures with the rain and clouds will be below normal mostly in the upper 60s. Milder trend likely for most of next week.

The forecast: Today: Mostly cloudy with showers developing mainly after 4pm, highs in the upper 70s.
Tonight: Cloudy with showers likely and a chance of a thunderstorm mainly before 2am, low around 60.
Thursday: Mostly sunny high in the low 70s, increasing clouds at night with chance of rain late at night.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, chance of rain, high upper 60s.
Saturday: Cloudy with a chance of rain high in the upper 60s
Sunday: Cloudy with a chance of rain, high again in the upper 60s
Monday: Partly sunny, high lower 70s.
Tuesday: Sunny, high again in the low 70s.

Marine Forecast: Today: Small craft advisory till 2am Thursday: Southwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas to 6 feet.
Outlook: Mainly below advisory level conditions through early next week, best chance of near advisory levels would be on Sunday.
