Cloudy and mild Wednesday with some light rain and drizzle! Watching Sandy!

Clouds will prevail today and at times with drizzle as an onshore flow develops, it will be mild but not as mild as originally thought with highs mainly in the 60s. Still a lot of clouds around on Thursday though we may see a little sunshine. Friday and Saturday should be mainly sunny and milder. Chance of rain and cooler on Sunday..
Now about Sandy, the storm is now just south of Jamaica and will cross that island today and then Eastern Cuba tonight before moving into the Bahamas on Friday. After that the computer models are still far apart on how it will affect our area, for the sixth run in a row the European model (ECMWF) has the storm hitting the Asbury Park area with 150 mph winds very early Tuesday morning while the American model (GFS) has it go safely out to sea. This is a low confidence forecast for a possible high impact event, we should have a better handle on what will happen in a couple of days, stay tuned..
