One more day of warm weather then cooler with rain chances increasing!

This morning we have partly cloudy skies and temperatures are in the mid 50s. A little back door cold front has dropped south of us and cooled us off a bit since at 3:15am it was 69 degrees, dropping about 15 degrees in only two hours. This front will be in our area today and there will be more clouds than yesterday with temperatures well above normal again but not as warm as the record high readings of the 80s we had on Tuesday.
Tomorrow the front will move further south and we will be the cooler marine air along with cloudy skies with periods of light rain and drizzle, temperatures will remain only in the 50s.
Friday looks like a washout with rain possibly heavy at times and it will remain cool.
The weekend will be dry with seasonable April temperatures.
Early next week also should be dry with slightly higher than normal temperatures.

The forecast: Today – Partly sunny, high in the upper 70s.
Tonight – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and possibly a thundershower, low near 50.
Thursday – Cloudy and cooler with a chance of light rain and drizzle, high only in the mid to upper 50s.
Friday – Rain with possibly a thunderstorm, high in the upper 50s.
Saturday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.
Sunday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.
Monday – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.
Tuesday – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

Marine forecast: Today – North wind becoming southeast around 10 knots, seas 3 feet.
Outlook – Small craft advisories may be needed Thursday and Friday for high seas otherwise below advisory conditions into early next week.

Have a good day!

80 Degree weather at least for the next two days!

With plenty of sunshine in the forecast today temperatures should reach near the 80 degree mark. Meanwhile in Denver the high temperature yesterday was in the low 70s yesterday, today they will have near blizzard conditions and a high of only near 20, quite a change for that area.
For us on Wednesday there will be more clouds with a chance of a couple of showers or thunderstorms but temperatures still will reach close to the 80 degree mark and if we have more sunshine we could have readings well into the 80s.
The tricky part of the forecast is on Thursday as a cold front will sag into and likely through our area cooling us off to highs only in the 60s or even lower as winds will be coming off the cooler ocean. Along with the cooler temperatures we will have a chance of light rain or drizzle.
On Friday more widespread rain will occur and some of this rain may be heavy.
We should dry out for the weekend with seasonable temperatures.

The forecast: Today – Sunny, high near 80.
Tonight – Increasing cloudiness with a chance of a shower before daybreak, low in the mid 50s.
Wednesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower or thundershower, high near 80.
Thursday – Cooler with a chance of light rain and drizzle, high in the mid 60s.
Friday – Rain, possibly heavy at times, high near 60.
Saturday – Becoming mostly sunny, high near 60.
Sunday – Sunny, high near 60.
Monday – Partly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

Marine Forecast: Small craft advisory through this afternoon for south wind becoming west up to 20 knots, seas rising to near 5 feet.
Outlook: Small craft advisories likely Thursday and Friday and drop below advisory levels for the weekend.

Enjoy the summer like weather!!

Warm spring weather for most of this week!

At daybreak this morning we have clear skies and it is mild as temperatures are in the upper 40s and with plenty of sunshine today temperatures will hit 70 degrees or a little above for the first time since last fall.
Tonight a weak disturbance will give us a chance of a shower or even a thunderstorm and it will remain mild with readings not falling lower than the 50s.
Tomorrow and Wednesday will even be warmer as temperatures will soar to near 80 degrees.
Thursday is still in question on how warm it gets as a cold front sags into our area from the north, if the front moves to our south temperatures will be only in the 50s, if it remains north of us we could be having another 80 degree day. With the front nearby we will have lots of clouds around and a chance of showers.
Better chance of rain on Friday.
It will dry out for the weekend but it will be on the cool side with highs in the upper 50s.

The forecast: Today, mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.
Tonight – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower or thundershower after midnight, low in the low 50s.
Tuesday – Mostly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon, quite warm, high near 80.
Wednesday – Partly sunny, high near 80.
Thursday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high near 70.
Friday – Cloudy and cooler with a good chance of rain, high near 60.
Saturday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.
Sunday – Sunny, high again in the upper 50s.

Marine Forecast: Today – West wind becoming east-southeast around 10 knots, seas up to 3 feet.
Outlook – Generally below advisory level conditions except for near advisory conditions on Thursday into Friday!

Enjoy the warm spring weather!!

Pleasant Sunday then much warmer weather to start the work week!

Today we will have a little more clouds but there also will be some sunshine and temperatures will be a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday. There may be a shower tonight as a warm front pushes north of our area, temperatures tonight will only fall into the upper 40s.
Much warmer air will then be in area tomorrow giving us our first 70 degree temperature of the year.
It may only take one more day to reach the 80 degree mark as Tuesday looks to be quite toasty, as a front approaches there may be an afternoon shower and thundershower.
This front will be in our area Wednesday and Thursday, if this front drops down south of us we will be hard pressed to be much above 50 degrees but if it remains north of us we may again be close to 80 degrees, I will play it in the middle and forecast mid 60s, how is that for a cop out? There is also a chance of rain or showers Wednesday through Saturday with cooler weather more definite as we move into next weekend.

The forecast: Today – Partly sunny, high near 60.
Tonight – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower, low in the upper 40s.
Monday – Partly sunny, high near 70.
Tuesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of an afternoon shower and thunderstorm, high near 80.

Have a great Sunday!

High pressure will give us a pleasant Saturday though it will be cooler than yesterday but still a rather pleasant day with lighter winds.
Dry weather will continue on Sunday with milder temperatures.
This dry and mild weather will continue on Monday but a front will be approaching giving us a chance of showers toward Tuesday morning and despite plenty of clouds we may have our first 70 degree day of the spring on Tuesday.
A front in the area Wednesday through Friday will give us chances of rain on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures during this period will depend where this front sets up with northern areas being near 60 while south of this front it will be almost summer like with highs in the 70s..

The forecast: Today – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.
Tonight – Increasing clouds, low in the upper 30s.
Sunday – Partly sunny, high in the mid 60s.
Monday – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s, chance of showers after midnight.
