Another dry day this Monday but clouds and rain chance increase as the week goes on.


Skies have clouded up this morning and temperatures are in the upper 40s at daybreak. These clouds will break by mid morning and we will have seasonable cool temperatures, again like the last few days it will be cooler along the coast and warmer inland.. Very high pollen levels will continue.
Tuesday we may have a little drizzle and clouds in the morning becoming partly sunny with milder temperatures.
The best chance of rain will be on Wednesday as an upper level low moves in from the south with shower chances extending into Thursday, temperatures will be cool especially along the coast.
Friday winds will be coming from the west with warmer temperatures but there will be a front that will be approached our area causing a chance of afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
This front will be in the area next weekend with chance of showers on Saturday and Sunday.

Outlook: Small craft advisory likely be needed again Tuesday night into early Thursday then fall below advisory levels later Thursday.

Mostly sunny and cool ending to the weekend!


Temperatures around dawn this morning range from the low 40s in the Clifton area to many 30s inland.
Today will be sunny but still cool with an onshore wind.
The dry weather will continue on Monday but a low pressure system to our south will move this way with rain chances increasing Tuesday through Thursday with Wednesday being the wettest day.
It will dry out for Friday with temperatures climbing well up into the 70s.
A cold front crossing the area may increase shower chances next weekend.

Plenty of sunshine this weekend.


A little cool this morning with temperatures in the low 40s in the Clifton area but many 30s inland.
With plenty of sunshine temperatures will rise to the upper 60s today but with a continued onshore wind flow will cause cooler temperatures closer to the coast..
Sunday will be a repeat of today but a couple of degrees cooler as a onshore flow continues.
Dry weather will continue into Monday but an upper level low will start to approach the area from the south with rain chances increasing Tuesday through Thursday.
After this low moves through the area drier weather will return on Friday into next weekend with warmer temperatures.

Outlook – Conditions lower to below advisory levels Sunday night into Monday but may be needed for hazardous seas Tuesday through Thursday due to a prolonged easterly wind flow.

Fine spring weather to persist through the weekend!


Temperature at daybreak today in the Clifton area is 50 degrees and the day will feature partly sunny skies cooler than yesterday with a little more wind.
Another nice spring weather weekend as we will have plenty of sunshine with near normal temperatures, highs in the upper 60s, however with an onshore wind it will be cooler at the shore.
Dry weather will continue into early next week with near normal temperatures.
Next chance of rain will be around Wednesday as a weak upper air low will approach the area from the southeast states. Slightly warmer towards the end of next week.

With clear skies early this morning temperatures have bottomed out in the mid 40s but there are some 30s in the colder valleys. Plenty of sunshine again today and it will be a few degrees warmer with less wind, most temperatures will rise into the 70s.
A weak back door cold front will move to our south on Friday associated with some morning cloudiness, then mostly sunny skies returning in the afternoon with cooler temperatures.
Fantastic weekend weather once again as high pressure will dominate with temperatures near normal ranging from the upper 60s to around 70.
Nice weather to continue into Monday but rain chances increase slightly for Tuesday and Wednesday as a upper level low in the southeast states tries to move northward..

Climate note: April in the Clifton area had temperatures a little above normal but it still was the coolest April since 2007. April was quite dry with only 1.86″ of precipitation making this the driest April since 1985.
