Mostly cloudy and humid Sunday, most rain should hold off till later tonight!


We start off Sunday with mostly cloudy skies, overnight temperatures fell to around 70 with high humidity.
As the day goes on we will continue to have mostly cloudy skies though there will be some breaks in the clouds, there is a chance of showers but most activity will occur later tonight after midnight.
Heavy rain possible Monday and Monday night that can cause some flash flooding.
Rain chances decrease on Tuesday but it should remain cloudy and humid.
A high pressure ridge will build westward from the Atlantic pushing most of the rain to our west by Wednesday.
More sunshine from Independence Day through next weekend with temperatures becoming hot, it will remain quite humid.
Long range models ares showing hot weather to continue for the second week of July.

Forecast more optimistic for most of the weekend!


Temperatures this morning bottomed out in the upper 60s with partly cloudy skies. Today’s forecast is for only widely scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3pm, most areas will remain dry.
We may be able to keep most of Sunday dry also but rain chance will increase as we move toward Sunday evening, high temperatures will be in the 80s.
Showers and thunderstorms will be more likely Monday into Tuesday.
Only widely scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon and evening Wednesday through Friday. It will remain humid most of the week with high temperatures mostly in the mid to upper 80s.

Humid weather with some showers and thunderstorms the next several days!


Another warm and humid overnight period with daybreak temperatures in the low 70s. Last night’s heavy rain has moved north into New York State and we should have a dry morning with some breaks of sunshine. More showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening and once again some of these storms may produce very heavy rain and strong gusty winds, a flood watch remains in effect into this evening.
Although there is a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms this weekend I would not cancel any outdoor plans yet, Saturday looks to be the best chance to remain dry, high temperatures will mostly be in the 80s.
Cut and paste weather into next week with chances of showers and thunderstorms each day through the 4th of July with best likely hood of rain being on Monday, it will remain humid through the period with high temperatures mostly in the 80s.

Muggy weather continues, showers and thunderstorms likely this afternoon and tonight, flood watch in effect!


Another warm and humid start to the day as overnight temperatures only dropped to around 70 degrees. Lots of clouds today but we may see some breaks of sunshine but after missing the rain in the Clifton area the threat of more widespread rain exists that may be heavy at times especially this afternoon and tonight. A flood watch is in effect as we could pick up an inch or two of rain that could be even higher if the storms train over the same area, also gusty winds may accompany the storms especially this afternoon.
On Friday heavy rain will end for the most part in the morning and the afternoon looks to be drier but remain mostly cloudy.
Rain likely on Saturday but again most of it should occur in the morning.
Humid weather continues Sunday through at least the middle of next week with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms each day, though it will mostly cloudy there still should be some breaks of sun, most high temperatures will be in the middle 80s.

Another hot day today! Chances for thunderstorms everyday through next week!


Once again we start the day very warm and humid as temperatures only fell to the low 70s.
Today we will have partly sunny skies with temperatures reaching the lower 90s, there is more of a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, some of these storms may be accompanied by very heavy rain, dangerous lightning, hail and strong gusty winds, these storms should die down after sunset..
More widespread showers and thunderstorms from tomorrow through early next week as a cold front approaches then stall over the area, with more cloudiness during this period will prevent the temperatures to reach the 90s but the humidity will remain high, also some of these storms may cause very heavy rain that may cause flash flooding, not a good forecast as we head into the first few days of July.
