Clear skies with comfortable temperatures and humidity this morning, overnight temperatures dropped to the low 60s.
Today will be an almost carbon copy of yesterday with plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching the mid 80s.
Rain is in the forecast for Thursday as a frontal system approaches from the west, most of the rain will be in the afternoon and evening and some of this rain may be heavy at times.
Clearing on Friday with seasonably warm temperatures.
At this time the weekend looks dry except for a slight chance of showers Saturday evening as a cold front passes through.
Dry and cool on Monday but shower increases on Tuesday as another cold front moves into the area..

At daybreak this morning we have clear skies, overnight low temperatures were in the low 60s in the Clifton area to the 50s inland., with comfortable humidity.
High pressure will provide us with sunshine today and Wednesday with near normal highs in the 80s, humidity will continued to be on the low side.
Next chance of rain is on Thursday as low pressure approaches our area from the west. There could be some heavy downpours especially Thursday afternoon and evening.
Some morning rain early on Friday then clearing with seasonable warm temperatures.
Chances of rain for the weekend have diminished and we should stay dry with again near normal temperatures and comfortable humidity.
This nice weather should extend into early next week.

Pleasant and dry summer weather for the last days of July!


The cold front that cause showers yesterday evening is now crossing the area, temperatures are in the upper 60s with rather high humidity. Drier air will be filtering in the area during the day today and with plenty of sunshine, high temperatures will be in the middle 80s.
The nice weather will continue Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure settles over the area.
The next chance of rain will be from a storm system on Thursday, some of this rain may be heavy.
Dry and warm on Friday but still another front may give us some showers again on Saturday night with clearing weather for next Sunday. High temperatures through the week into the weekend should be in the 80s with no signs of any intense heat returning the next two weeks.

At sunrise this morning skies are mostly cloudy in the Clifton area, temperatures and humidity levels are a little higher than yesterday, temperatures are in the upper 60s.
A cold front will be approaching the area today giving us mainly cloudy skies but there may be some brief breaks in the cloud cover. An area of showers now over Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey should slowly move into are area this afternoon. Showers should persist until the early morning hours of Monday.
Plenty of sunshine and less humid Monday through most of Wednesday with near normal temperatures.
Chance of showers increase Wednesday night into Thursday as a small low pressure moves to our south..

Good weather today but showers likely on Sunday!


Clear skies at daybreak this morning, overnight lows were in the low 60s in the Clifton area with again some 50s in the normally cooler spots inland.
Plenty of sunshine today will give us a nice summer day, high temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs in the mid 80s.
A cold front approaching on Sunday will cause an increase in clouds and humidity, showers and thunderstorms are likely with some heavy rain possible in these storms.
The cold front will cross the area Monday morning with showers ending in the morning followed by clearing and less humid air.
Nice and pleasant weather Tuesday and Wednesday but another front will increase the chances of showers Thursday into Friday morning.. Temperatures next week will be right around normal with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s..

Yesterday with a low pressure just off shore skies were overcast and with a northerly wind temperatures did not get out of the 60s, it was a nice day to do some yard work.
The low will move further offshore and sunshine will return today and high temperatures will rise back up into the 80s.
Saturday will be the best day of the weekend with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 80s.
Showers and thunderstorms likely Sunday into Monday morning, it will be a little more humid, temperatures will be near normal.
Seasonably warm and pleasant weather Tuesday and Wednesday with the next chance of showers on about Thursday.

Fall like weather today!


Temperatures along with humidity levels have dropped to their lowest readings in over a month. This morning temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the 50s in the colder areas of New Jersey.
Today we will have plenty of clouds around with even a sprinkle especially just to our east, high temperatures will only reach the upper 70s.
More sunshine on Friday with high temperatures climbing back to the 80s.
Saturday should be mainly rain free but showers and thunderstorms are likely on Sunday as a cold front approaches.
Showers may persist into Monday morning then clearing and seasonably warm..
More showers possible on Wednesday as another cold front approaches our area.

Pleasant Wednesday with lower humidity; nice and cool tonight!


At daybreak this morning it is still rather warm and muggy but a cold front will be pushing south of our area this morning and high pressure will build behind it. With mostly sunny skies high temperatures will still be in the mid to upper 80s but the humidity will start to fall by this afternoon.
Tonight will be refreshingly cool with temperatures falling to the low 60s in the Clifton area and into the 50s in the normally cooler areas.
Comfortable temperatures Thursday and Friday but there is a slight chance of a shower both days as a disturbance moves along the front to our south.
Seasonably warm on the weekend and a little more humid but shower chances increase with the best chance of rain on Sunday as another cold front approaches.
Showers may linger into Monday then clearing and again less humid early next week with near normal temperatures..

More flash flooding possible today; Much less humid by Wednesday afternoon!


Over two inches of rain fell in the Clifton area as we had some torrential downpours yesterday afternoon and again during the overnight hours.
It is muggy again this morning but most of the heavy rain has moved offshore. We should have a dry morning but showers and thunderstorms are likely again this afternoon with more very heavy downpours in some area. A flash flood watch is in effect until 8PM this evening. It will be warm and humid with highs in the 80s.
A cold front will cross the area tomorrow morning with much drier air behind the front, with sunshine tomorrow high temperatures will be in the 80s.
Thursday will be a very pleasant day with very low humidity, early morning temperatures will range in the upper 50s to the low 60s and daytime highs in the low 80s.
Pleasant weather to continue on Friday.
Little more humid on the weekend, there may be a pop up thunderstorm on Saturday but a better chance of showers on Sunday as another cold front approaches our area.
No sign of intense heat for a least the next two weeks.

We finally got rid of the oppressive heat of last week but humidity is still on the high side. At daybreak this morning we have mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with temperatures in the low 70s.
With a cold front just to our south showers and thunderstorms will become likely by this afternoon and continue into Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the more reasonable 80s but humidity will remain on the high side.
Finally some less humid air for Wednesday and Thursday with continued near normal temperatures.
Some unsettled weather Friday into next weekend, high temperatures will be mainly in the 80s.
The long range computer models show no sign of the high heat returning through early August.
