Tropical weather to continue for Independence Day!

The weather at 7am 237 years ago was a lot more comfortable in this area with temperatures in the mid 60s and a light northerly wind, the high temperature only reached the mid 70s.
This morning daybreak temperatures are in the mid 70s and the dew points are in the oppressive lower 70s.
Yesterday the dew point at my station in the evening reached 79 degrees the highest since I installed the station last spring..
Today we will have plenty of sunshine it will remain quite humid, only an outside chance of a shower well inland.
The hot and humid weather will continue the next several days as a very strong Bermuda high remains just off our coast. Most of our area will stay dry but there is an outside chance of a shower in this tropical air mass. Enjoy this Caribbean type weather mon!!
