Coolest weather of the season tonight!


A cold front will swing through the area this morning associated with some clouds and followed by a northerly flow of much drier air, afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s. Much cooler tonight with temperatures falling to the upper 40s in the Clifton area to some 30s in the normally cooler rural areas.
Friday will be sunny with highs struggling to reach the low 70s.
Pleasant weekend weather with moderating temperatures.
Another cold front passing through on Sunday night with cooler temperatures on Monday.
Warmer weather will be in store for area by the middle of next week with highs back up in the 80s along with higher humidity. Little or no rain should fall over the next several days.
Meanwhile tropical storm Gabrielle has formed near Puerto Rico but should move north into the open Atlantic Ocean well east of the US mainland.

Friday – Sunny, high in the low 70s
Saturday – Mostly sunny, high near 80.
Sunday – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.
Monday – Sunny, high in the mid 70s.
Tuesday – Mostly sunny, high near 80.
Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

Marine forecast: Today – West wind becoming north around 12 knots, seas 2 feet.
Outlook – near advisory level conditions Sunday night into Monday morning, otherwise quiet conditions on the ocean waters.
