Winter arrives at 12:11PM with April like temperatures!


With mostly cloudy skies this morning temperatures are in the mild mid 40s in the Clifton area to some 30s inland.

Today will continue to have mostly cloudy skies and very mild temperatures with highs in the upper 50s which is normal for the second week in April.  There is a slight chance of showers both today and tonight but most of the time it will remain dry. Lows tonight will only fall to around the 50 degree mark.

Record high temperatures will occur on Sunday with highs mostly in the upper 60s to around 70, normal for the middle of May.  Shower chances increase especially toward evening.

A cold front will cross the area on Monday accompanied by showers, it will be warm in the morning and then cooling off after the front passes.

Much colder on Tuesday and on Christmas with most highs in the 30s, we should stay dry.

A little milder next Thursday and Friday and we will have a chance of rain of snow showers Thursday night.

 

The forecast:  Today – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 50s.

Tonight – Cloudy with a chance of showers, low around 50.

Sunday – Cloudy with showers likely, high in the upper 60s.

Monday – Cloudy with morning showers, high in the upper 50s.

Tuesday – Mostly sunny and much colder, high in the mid-upper 30s.

Christmas Day – Mostly sunny, high in the low 30s.

Thursday – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s, chance of rain or snow showers at night.

Friday – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

 

Marine Forecast: Small craft advisory in effect through 6pm on Sunday for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

Outlook – Advisories likely will be needed through Tuesday.
