Pleasant spring weather the next several days!


Skies are mostly cloudy at daybreak this Friday morning, temperatures are in the low 50s in the Clifton area to some upper 40s to our north and west.

After early morning cloudiness it will becoming mostly sunny and seasonably mild with most highs around the 70 degree mark.

This weekend will be mostly dry but there may be some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday, rainfall if it does occur will be brief.  Sunday will be quite breezy with gusts to 35 mph possible, temperatures will be seasonable for early May.

Dry weather with pleasant temperatures will continue into next week with the next chance of possible showers late Wednesday into Thursday.

 

The forecast: Today – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

Tonight – Partly cloudy, low in the upper 40s.

Saturday – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high near 70.

Sunday – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, windy, high in the upper 60s.

Monday – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

Tuesday – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

Wednesday – Mostly sunny, high near 70, chance of showers at night.

Thursday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high near 70.

 

Marine forecast:  Small craft advisory in effect till noon today for high seas;  Today – West wind to 15 knots, seas around 5 feet.

Outlook – Sub advisory level conditions on Saturday with advisories likely Sunday and Monday with below advisory level conditions on Tuesday.

 

Climate Summary for April – Temperatures were near normal and precipitation with the help of the deluge on the 30th was above normal.

The highest temperature was 82 degrees on the 13th and the lowest 28 degrees was recorded on the 16th..

There were some wild swings in weather conditions during the month with near 80 degrees on the 14th and then snow falling (1/2 inch) the next night.   Then we had brush fires on the 24th  to flooding rains on the last day of the month.
