Dry and warmer weather for the rest of this holiday weekend!


Skies across the area are mostly clear and temperatures early this morning range for the low 50s in the Clifton area to some 40s inland.

The disturbance that caused showers and thunderstorms the last couple of days is finally moving further offshore as high pressure builds in from the west.  Today there will be more sunshine and high temperatures will approach the 80 degree mark.

Dry weather will continue on Memorial Day with even warmer temperatures.

A cold front will be coming through the area on Tuesday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing, warm temperatures will continue with a slight increase in humidity.

Cooler and dry on Wednesday.

Nice weather with seasonable temperatures Thursday through Saturday.

TODAY – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the upper 50s.

MEMORIAL DAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny and cooler, high near 70.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-northwest wind to 7 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Sub-advisory level conditions Monday and Tuesday, chance of advisories Wednesday and Thursday due to higher seas.
