Summerlike weather for Memorial Day!


Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the low 50s across inland areas.

An area of clouds will move across the area early this morning giving way to mostly sunny skies, temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s but as was the case yesterday humidity levels will stay on the low side,  it will be a great beach day.

Another quite warm day with increasing humidity on Tuesday ahead of a cold front that will pass through late at night preceded by some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

Showers possibly continuing into Wednesday morning followed by clearing in the afternoon with much cooler temperatures.

Dry weather should prevail Thursday through next weekend, below normal temperatures can be expected Thursday and Friday and near normal on the weekend.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Some early clouds then becoming mostly sunny, high in the mid-upper 80s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – Mostly cloudy, more humid with afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms likely, high in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Chance of morning showers then clearing, much cooler, high only in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny and cool, high in the upper 60s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 70s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West wind to 12 knots seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Sub-advisory level conditions on Tuesday with advisories possible for high seas on Wednesday and Thursday, below advisory level conditions expected Thursday night and Friday.
