Skies are clear across the Northern New Jersey area early this morning and temperatures in the area are in the mid 50s.
Yesterday we had more cloudiness than anticipated in the afternoon and with a brisk northwest wind it was quite chilly through the evening.
Today we will have much less clouds so the strong June sun will help raise temperatures into the low 80s with continued low humidity, winds will be a little brisk at times but not as windy as we experienced on Saturday.
A warmer week is in the forecast and we may have our first 90 degree day of the season on Tuesday or Wednesday, humidity will rise also along with a small chance of showers by Wednesday.
A cold front will be slowly moving through the area on Thursday giving the area a better chance of showers and thunderstorms.
This front will not move too far to our south so shower chances will continue Friday and Saturday with somewhat cooler temperatures.
