Pleasantly warm Monday; First 90 degree readings of the season likely Tuesday and Wednesday!


We have mostly clear skies at daybreak this morning with temperatures in the Clifton area are in the upper 50s with lower 50s further inland.

Another comfortably warm day today as we will have plenty of sunshine and humidity levels will still be on the low side, winds will be lower than yesterday.

Tonight a weak disturbance may touch off some overnight showers and thunderstorms, humidity will start creeping higher.

Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies and along with higher humidity and high temperatures will be around 90 degrees.

A cold front will be approaching on Wednesday causing an increase in cloudiness and a chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day and evening, some of these storms can be strong, humidity will be high and temperatures ahead of this front may rise to the low 90s.

Cooler and less humid Thursday and Friday along with plenty of sunshine.

At this point most of the upcoming weekend looks to be dry with seasonably warm temperatures, however showers may move in on Sunday night as a warm front approaches.

TODAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers mainly between midnight and 3 am. low in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny and quite warm and humid, high near 90.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, high in the low 90s.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny, not as warm and humid, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – Partly sunny, high again in the low 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – West-northwest wind becoming east-southeast to 8 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – Sub-advisory level conditions continuing through Friday.
