Rainy start to the weekend!

Rain is falling at daybreak this morning, temperatures are in the mid 60s in the Clifton area.

Yesterday afternoon we received only .12 inches of rainfall while Allendale in Bergen County picked up nearly 5 inches causing flash flooding.

The area of rain that is falling now should end by early this afternoon and it should remain dry through this evening, temperatures will only reach the 70s due to clouds and rain.

Another area of showers may affect our region after midnight tonight which should by daybreak on Sunday.

After the early morning rain on Sunday we should be dry with some sunshine breaking through the clouds, temperatures should be a couple of degrees warmer than today but still be below normal.
