At daybreak this morning we have mostly cloudy skies, temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the low 60s in the Clifton area to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light, some inland areas have patchy dense fog.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of some light showers today and tonight, temperatures will continue to be above normal with highs in the mid to some upper 70s.  Note:  So far this September we only recorded 1.17″ of precipitation, if we get less than .14″ today it will make this September the driest September since I began records in 1973, the record now is 1.31″ set in 1984.

Cloudy skies with a chance of showers on Wednesday with temperatures a couple of degrees lower than today.

Dry weather with seasonably mild temperatures Thursday and most of Friday.

A frontal system will give us a better chance of rain showers Friday night into Saturday.

Much cooler on Sunday despite plenty of sunshine with highs only reaching the mid 60s.

Indications are that the cooler weather will be short lived with a return to above normal temperatures next week.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 70.
