Mild and windy Christmas, sun will finally make an appearance this afternoon!

We have light rain early on this Christmas morning, temperatures range from the mid 50s in the Clifton area to the upper 40s further inland, winds are gusty out of the west.

At 2:30am this morning the temperature rose to a record 62 degrees here in Clifton, since a cold front has come through the temperatures have cooled back to the 50s, far cry from last Christmas when the low was 15 degrees.

Today we will have light rain ending around 10 am followed by sunshine this afternoon, temperatures in the 50s this morning will drop to the 40s by this afternoon, strong gusty winds with speeds up to 35 mph are expected.

Friday and Saturday will be very nice late December weather with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures.

A cold front will come through on Sunday with the chance of showers.

Seasonably cold weather for next week, it appears now that the disturbances that were going to give us a chance of rain or snow will be too far to our south and we should now stay dry, that could change so stay tuned.
