Skies are mostly clear at daybreak this early Wednesday morning, temperatures are colder than the last couple of mornings ranging from around 20 in the Clifton area to the lower teens further inland, winds are light.

Today we will see increasing cloudiness, temperatures will be cooler than the last couple of days mainly in the mid 30s.

A weak fast moving low pressure area will be moving to our south tonight and we should see some light snow accumulating to around an inch in the Clifton area with higher amounts across Southern New Jersey.

Thursday and Friday will be dry with seasonably cold temperatures.

We then turn our attention to two coastal storms one on Saturday and then another storm on Monday that have the chance to give our area significant snow both days, as always the amount of snow will depend on the track, speed and intensity of these storms.  We will be in between these two systems on Sunday and that day will likely be dry with seasonable temperatures.  In the meantime I will have to look to see if my wife put that snowy shower curtain back up.

SATURDAY – Snow likely, high in the mid 30s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 30s.

MONDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow, high in the low 30s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 30s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – North wind around 10 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Thursday, Friday and Sunday, with advisories possible Saturday and Monday.
