A rainy Saturday; Clearing and breezy Sunday!


At 6 a.m. this morning we have light rain falling and the temperature ranges from 36 in Clifton to the low 30s further inland, winds are light.  There may be pockets of freezing rain well inland but most areas are just plain rain.

Today we will have rain just about all day with the heaviest rain falling this morning, the rain will end by this evening,  expect around 3/4 of an inch of rainfall.  High temperatures will be close to normal.

We will have some partial clearing on Sunday, it will be breezy with high temperatures again near normal which is near 50 degrees.

Monday will be the mildest day of the upcoming week with highs in the 50s but a cold front will be swinging through the area at night.

Dry and chilly weather can be expected Tuesday through Friday.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Rain, mainly falling before 4 p.m., high in the upper 40s.

TONIGHT – Chance of rain till 8 p.m., lows in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy and breezy, high near 50.

MONDAY – Increasing cloudiness, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny and breezy, high in the upper 40s.

WEDNESDAY- Sunny but chilly, high only near 40.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South wind to 13 knots, seas 2-3 feet.

A small craft advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. till 6 p.m. on Sunday.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected during the day on Monday but advisories likely Monday night into Wednesday!
