Cloudy and cool with a chance of showers today! Warmer and dry on Friday!


Skies are mainly cloudy early this Thursday morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area to around 60 inland, winds are nearly calm.  There are some showers across Central and Southern parts of New Jersey.

Today will be a cloudy day with a chance of some light showers, with the clouds and an onshore flow temperatures will be cool.  A cold front will cross the area late tonight or early Friday morning causing some shower and thunderstorms activity.

Friday will be warmer with plenty of sunshine.

Cooler on Saturday but will be dry until late at night, a rather nice day for outside activities.

The remnants of Bill will give us a chance of showers late Saturday night into Sunday, some of this rain may be heavy.

Unsettled weather Monday though Wednesday, it will be seasonably warm, the best chance of shower activity looks to be around Tuesday night.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Cloudy with a chance of some light showers, high in the low 70s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, low in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 70s, increasing clouds at night with chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 p.m.

SUNDAY – Cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, some rain may be heavy, high in the low 80s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TUESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s, chance of thunderstorms at night.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – East-southeast wind to 12 knots, seas 2 feet.  Water temperatures are in the mid 60s.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected through Monday.
