A little warmer today with a chance of showers this afternoon! Showers and thunderstorms likely late tonight into Wednesday!


Skies are mostly cloudy on this last day of June and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton to the upper 50s inland, winds are light.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing later this afternoon, temperatures and humidity will be a little higher today.

Showers and thunderstorms become more likely late tonight through Wednesday morning as a warm front approaches, still a chance of more showers in the afternoon, temperatures will be seasonably warm.

Thursday will be a mainly dry day but an afternoon showers is still possible.

The holiday weekend at this time should be seasonably warm and again mainly dry but there is a chance of afternoon showers on the 4th.

Still no indications of any heat waves through the middle of July.

TODAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m. high in the low 80s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this evening become more likely after midnight, low in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely in the morning and still a chance of showers in the afternoon, high in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm, high in the low 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

INDEPENDANCE DAY – Mostly sunny with a chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm,  high in the mid 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:   TODAY – South-southeast wind to 11 knots, seas 2 feet.  Water temperatures are around 70.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible on Wednesday and again Friday and Saturday, no advisories expected on Thursday.
