Skies are mostly clear early this Thursday morning and it is a little cooler than the last few mornings with temperatures ranging from around 60 degrees in the Clifton area to near 50 in some of cooler inland suburbs, winds are light and the humidity is low.

Today will be a nice summer day with plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.

The low pressure system that we have been following still looks like it will miss our area just to our south on Friday, we should see some more in the way of clouds but rain from the system at this time looks only to reach the southern part of New Jersey, temperatures will be slightly cooler and the humidity will continue to be low.

The nice summer weather should continue through the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days with low humidity and seasonably warm temperatures

Chance of showers will increase early next week along with somewhat more humid conditions, the best chance of rain will be Monday night into Tuesday.

TUESDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of morning showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – North wind to 9 knots, seas 1-2 feet.  Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible Friday through the day on Sunday with no advisories expected Sunday night into Monday.
