Quite warm but still nice Labor Day! Hot tomorrow and Wednesday! Good chance of well needed rain on Thursday!


Skies are clear early on this Labor Day with temperatures ranging from the low 60s in Clifton to the low 50s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine along with hot temperatures, humidity will be slowly rising.

Tomorrow and Wednesday the heat will continue along with higher humidity as high pressure moves off the coast.

A front will be moving into the area on Thursday that will likely give the area some well needed rainfall,  it will be not as hot with the cloud cover but it will be very humid.

Still a chance of showers on Friday with decreasing temperatures and humidity.

At this point the weekend looks mainly dry with seasonably warm temperatures.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – Sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

THURSDAY – Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, quite humid, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, gradually becoming less humid, high in the low 80s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the low 80s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southerly winds to 11 knots, seas 2 feet

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected through Friday.

Water temperatures are in the low-mid 70s.
