Nice holiday weekend weather continues! Hot and dry tomorrow through Wednesday! Good chance of well needed rain at the end of the week!


Skies are mostly clear early this Sunday morning and temperatures range from near 60 in the Clifton area to around 50 in some of the colder suburbs, winds are nearly calm.

High pressure will give us plenty of sunshine again today, temperatures will be a little higher than on Saturday reaching the mid 80s.

Hot weather for Labor Day extending to at least Wednesday as high pressure moves offshore and a southwest flow develops increasing the temperature and humidity.

A front will be approaching the area on Thursday increasing the chances of showers and thunderstorms.  The front will be slow to move so rain chances will continue Friday into Saturday.  It will be very humid on Thursday with a little lower humidity Friday and Saturday.

TODAY – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the mid 60s.

LABOR DAY – Sunny and hot, high near 90.

TUESDAY – Sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, hot and humid, high in the low 90s.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny and humid with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the low 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – East-northeast wind to 7 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected through Thursday.

Water temperatures are in the mid 70s.
