Chilly with rain today and on Saturday! Joaquin expected to stay well offshore.


We have light rain early this morning and temperatures range from around 50 in Clifton to the mid 40s inland, there is a brisk northeast wind.

Today will be quite chilly with a stiff northeast wind, we will have light rain this morning becoming moderate by this afternoon.

Light rain or drizzle continuing on Saturday with continued quite cool temperatures and it will again be breezy,  total rain for today and Saturday will be around an inch, much less than what was anticipated a couple of days ago.

Cloudy with still some morning drizzle or light rain on Sunday, temperatures will be a little milder.

Meanwhile Hurricane Joaquin is pounding the Central Bahamas, the American model along with the steady European model has the storm remaining well offshore.

Monday we will finally see some sunshine, we still may have a shower.

Dry with milder temperatures most of the rest of next week.

SATURDAY – Cloudy with light rain and drizzle, breezy, high in the mid 50s.

SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy with morning light rain or drizzle, breezy, high in the low 60s.

MONDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, high near 70.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Gale warning in effect till 6 p.m. on Sunday for northeast winds gusting to 45 knots, seas 11-16 feet.

OUTLOOK – Gale warning likely to be continue through Tuesday.
