Milder today after a chilly morning! A warm and dry Columbus Day!


We have clear skies and nearly calm winds early this Sunday morning and temperatures have fallen to the low 40s here in Clifton ranging to the 30s further inland with some patchy frost, the lowest temperature recorded in New Jersey is a chilly 33 degrees in Basking Ridge.

Today we will see a quick rebound in temperatures as a southwest flow along with plenty of sunshine will help temperatures rise to the 70 degree mark.

Not as chilly tonight and Columbus Day will be quite mild with highs reaching the mid 70s with continued sunny skies.

Still mild on Tuesday with a chance of a light shower.

Dry with seasonable temperatures Wednesday and Thursday

Below normal temperatures can be expected Friday into next weekend with a chance of showers on Friday.  No widespread rain is expected for the next several days.

TODAY – Sunny, high near 70.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low around 50.

COLUMBUS DAY – Sunny, high in the mid 70s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high around 60.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – Southwest wind to 7 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK –  No advisories expected through Wednesday with near small craft advisory levels on Thursday.
