Skies have become mostly clear early on this New Year’s eve and temperatures are again mild with readings ranging from the low 40s here in Clifton to the mid 30s further inland, winds are nearly calm.

With the rainfall late last night into very early this morning we now have 10 straight days with some measurable precipitation, however now we should see a dry spell for the next several days.

Today we finally will see some sunshine with temperatures reaching the upper 40s which is about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year as we close out an historically warm December.

Dry weather with cooler temperatures New Year’s Day through the weekend but still with temperatures slightly above normal.

Cold and dry Monday and Tuesday and we may see our first below normal days since the end of November.

The cold spell will not last long as temperatures are again expected to rise to above normal readings Wednesday through the end of next week.
