Warming trend starts today with 70s likely on Wednesday!


We have mostly clear skies early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the low 30s here in Clifton to the low 20s inland, winds are nearly calm.  Although these temperatures are near normal for this time of year it is likely it won’t be this cool for quite some time.

Today we will see mostly sunny skies, it will become breezy this afternoon and temperatures will rise into the upper 50s.

Very mild and dry Tuesday through the day on Thursday, temperatures will rise to the 60s tomorrow, 70s on Wednesday and near 70 on Thursday.  The next chance of showers will not be until Thursday night as a cold front approaches.

A little cooler Friday through Sunday but temperatures will still be well above normal, there may be some showers Saturday evening into Sunday.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Mostly sunny, breezy in the afternoon, high in the upper 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny with near record temperatures, highs in the low 70s.

THURSDAY – Partly sunny and quite mild, high near 70.  Chance of showers at night.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny and not as mild, high in the low 60s.

SATURDAY – Partly sunny, high in the upper 50s, chance of showers at night.

SUNDAY – Mostly clear with a chance of showers, high near 60.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South-southwest wind to 14 knots, seas 2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday and Wednesday, possible advisories for Thursday with no advisories expected on Friday.
